Very cool room hidden off the alley. Had an Italian Beef (Jim's Beef) and had low expectations. Being from Chicago I was a bit snobby about anyone else outside of the Windy City doing an IB right. My apologies. Great sandwich. The bread was perfect. Tender, juicy meat. Giardiniera nice and spicy. My only gripe would be the lack of fries as a side. I had the jalepeno slaw and it was good, but fries are the natural side to a lovely beef. Will be back.

We absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere. The Reuben sandwich is the best Reuben we've ever had. The patty melt was extremely delicious as well. I loved the potato hash as a side it was unique and flavorful. The service was great. Our waiter was friendly, informative, and very attentive. We are definitely making this a regular stop.

What a treat! I was given a tip to try this place for dinner. It was a little bit hard to find the entrance, but once I did, it was totally worth it! What a great experience!
A+ on everything. Service, atmosphere, food, and drinks were all great. The Jim's Beef is very good. The owner is a gem too. Get there early on game days.

OMG!! This is a MUST try in Kansas City! Between our server Mallory, the incredible “Jim and tonic” , and the food I can’t pick my favorite. Wait actually I can…the Ruben was hands down the BEST I have ever had. Perfect amount of sauce and the crispy bread was amazing. We will be back!

Place has a really cool vibe, except for some reason when we walked in tonight, not busy at all, the blonde bartender with the bangs & the yellow tinted glasses was extremely rude to us saying “there better not be more than 8 of you”. We all work in the service industry and we’re caught off guard being greeted in such a rude way.
