The chips were hard not their normal thin chip. The enchiladas were cold in the center and the red sauce was too hot tasting. I could not eat all my meal. They tried to charge me $4.00 for the espanica dip when I gave them a free coupon for the dip. Not a good experience.

Food was great, service was good, place is filthy. I hope nothing ftom the moldy ventilation system falls into someone's food. The tops of the light fixtures are fuzzy as well. The bathroom door is atrocious. Can't believe the health department lets this slide.

Man. What happened?
This was our first time visiting in a few months, and sadly. It'll probably be our last.
The first thing we were greeted with when we walked in is several unbussed tables and stuff all over the floor. We were sat next to several dirty tables. We order our food, and unbeknownst and untold to us, we were provided the lunch portion even though we were provided a dinner menu. Apparently if it's before 4pm they default to the lunch portion without telling anyone. Whatever, no big deal. I mention that I am used to getting 3 Flautas an not 2 and also a bit more rice and beans. They bring me my 3rd flauta and I think cool. Good to go. I didnt care about getting *slightly* less of the sides, as I'd figure that would just complicate things if I sent tho whole plate back and they'd just comp the 3rd Flauta due to their mistake of not asking.
Hah. Silly me.
We get out bill and everything looks good. 2 lunch portion meals plus my parent's Nachos. I provide them with my card and the finalized bill comes back and they CHANGE it from the lunch portion to the dinner portion under my nose, after I provided them with my card thinking I was paying for the lunch portion. Not cool at all. I decided not to make a big deal about it, because the vibes were already weird amd I just didnt want to deal with it.
Tldr: food was fine but the service and cleanliness was awful.
Btw, those tables were sat next to? Still not cleaned.

This was one of the most concerning experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.
After being asked about a lost phone (which we did not have), we were later followed outside, accused, and told the manager instructed others to get our license plate. We felt unsafe and had to call the police to resolve the situation and prove we did not have the phone.
The issue is not a lost item—it’s that customers were allowed to follow, confront, and target other patrons without staff stepping in. That is a serious safety failure.
When I later spoke with a member of upper level management, the situation was minimized rather than addressed.
This should not happen to anyone. I strongly urge this location to implement clear policies to protect customers in situations like this.

Food was great I go there several times only problem it at the bar it reeks a vape so I started noticing the waitresses go back in the back and hit the Vape so I'll walk out with sinus issues like I said the food is good was brought up to the manager and he could care less I won't be back

Arrived at 2 pm. Happy hour is 3-6 pm. Food and drinks are cheaper on Happy Hour. Next time I will get there after 3👍. Food and mixed drinks 🍸 were Great!

I don't post reviews alot unless it's a good reason. We tried to go to the Mexican restaurant across the street, after 15 minutes of no drink, no service or chips and salsa we decided to try jose peppers for our first time. Within minutes we had our drinks, chips and salsa, and ordered our food. We were done and paid after 20 minutes. Thanks Bryce for the quick service. Food was great too.
It only gets 3 stars because our server was amazing. The place has a terrible gnat problem.
This is uh.... I'm not sure how to describe it. The food feels plain and boring. It has a nice bar and tons of TVs if you want to watch a game. The Happy Hour menu looked more appealing but I wasn't there in the correct time frame to do that.
It's a 50/50 I suppose. If you're interested give it a shot, just keep your expectations limited on food quality.
