Below average food, but it’s cool to experience the sushi is served on a moving trail.

I don't usually post reviews unless I've had an exceptional experience on either side of the spectrum.
Today was a mixed one. Food is good. Service not so much.
My teenage son and I stopped in for lunch after his cancer biopsy at children's mercy. We are dressed in sweat pants/t-shirt comfy clothes, cuz surgery...
There is minimal human interaction here which is one thing we like but can be an issue. We were seated by 1 person, the robot brought our drinks we ordered on the screen, another person brought my kid a fork, and a different person brought our check we ordered on the screen... 3 interactions, 3 different people.
Until we left.
Now I'm a server at a full service establishment. I almost always pay in cash anywhere. This place is not cash friendly. It wants you to pay on the screen. I left $95 on the table for our $84 bill. Guy runs after us after we leave to ask if I paid and if I paid online or with a card at the table. Acted all confused when I said cash and asked if they just keep the change.... huh? It took me a min to register what exactly he was asking. Finally another guy comes out to tell him there's cash on the table. No apology or anything. Who doesn't look on the table, especially after I asked for a bill, and just runs after someone in the street?
Whole thing was just insulting.

Interesting concept. I really enjoyed the smaller portions per plate so we could try various rolls. Seeing them scroll along made it interesting. Service was friendly. I expected it to be a little more “fancy” inside but I was glad it wasn’t. Laid back environment. Only negative was the lack of alcohol options. A couple beer choices and 1 wine shot (not a glass of wine). Fun place for a date or outing.

Fun, fast, more affordable than you think. It's not just a meal it's fun too!
The sushi was fresh and flavorful and the waitress took the time to explain how everything would work.
Try the green tea, it's but like anything I've had anywhere else!

This is one of the best sushi train experiences I’ve had. There were so many options and you didn’t have to wait a long time if the roll you wanted had already been picked by someone else. The robot that brings your drinks is adorable but a little slow. I’d return just for the sake of being able to try a bunch of sushi.

What you would expect from conveyor sushi. Depending on where you are seated, the order from the screen was super quick and same cost. Robots delivering drink is amusing.

I come here because I miss living in Japan. Its not as good as its Japanese counter part, but its the best sushi youre going to get in the midwest!

10/10 experience! Servers were polite and helpful when needed and the sushi was top notch. Loved the delivery system, gashapon machine that counts your plates, and the desserts! Mochi and taiyaki ice cream box were to die for! One of my friend's does not eat fish and they had lovely kitsune udon for her - so there are options for those who want something different. If you're on the fence, dont be - just go!
Thank you for an exceptional experience!

I came to eat with my family today and been here many many times before but never ever experienced what I did today. The service as far as refills and them checking on you honestly is never great but I come for the experience. Today I pressed the refill button 3 times and no one came. Finally a gentleman came by seeing all the empty cups asking if we need refills. This is not what pissed me off though. Another female waiter named (Dee) who only came to our table to get the payment for the bill and never actually checked on us or anything, when she brought it back for me to sign she said : DON’T FORGET TO TIP. First of all you weren’t my waiter and second of all I tip very generously all the time even though I never have good service, but for you to tell me don’t forget to tip that’s crappy and unprofessional. I have never been to a restaurant telling me don’t forget to tip. I always spend well over $120 and tip 25%_30% and I could have easily not tip today for what she said but I am not that kind of person. It is safe to say I won’t be coming back.

Really yummy and fun! Tbh the little robots get stuck on baby chairs, which is hilarious to watch as a non-parent...less so for a parent lol

A little pricey but worth every penny! I’d never been to a revolving sushi bar, but my husband raved about them while stationed in Japan. It was the freshest, most delicious sushi/sashimi I’ve ever had. If you’ve never been, the staff is super helpful in teaching you how it all works. We went just before noon and I recommend that if you want to get a table before the lunch rush. Very clean establishment, and the little serving robot was too cool. Highly recommend the eel and tuna!
Kid-friendliness: Not a lot of kid-friendly options if you have a picky eater (which our 1.5yo unfortunately is). Luckily, we were able to order her some French fries and watermelon to tide her over.

Four stars only because of service and service was mostly provided upon arrival so it was a small piece of the experience but nearly prevented the experience. You check in on a tablet and are instructed to wait outside. You get a text that your name will be called soon rather than a text when it’s time to come in. Our estimated wait time was 10-20 min.. As tables started to leave, we assumed someone would be out to call us but it never happened. People that arrived after us went in a few times and ended up sat before us. So right at 20 mins, we went in and they sat us right away with multiple tables open. Idk that anyone would’ve come out to get us if we didn’t go in…we were just following directions that were clearly stated. It should be a text when to come in or someone properly coming to get you. OTHERWISE - food and overall was great! Just sad it wasn’t a smooth entry process.
