iPad checkin, good service. Fresh sushi and nice two level conveyor belt system. Limited ambiance but seems like quality should be consistent.

Great casual place with good sushi. However, takoyaki was cold in the center. The server was quick to solve the issue. Would come again.

It took 25 minutes to get an actual drink from the time we ordered it and that was placing it 2x on the kiosk and asking 3 servers. It wasn’t even busy at the time we went. The robot is interesting but they rely on it to order drinks even if it is backed up. I think the biggest issue is that the servers don’t have assigned areas so multiple people are responsible for the entire restaurant. You would hit the server call button and it would take 5 or more minutes to get help and then they would forget to refill your drink. Food was okay, we would choose our other sushi place over this. We enjoyed the conveyor belt and being able to order fresh portions of sold out items on the belt.

Went here because of the hype thinking it would die down with the crowd, but nope still packed for a regular weekday. We definitely signed up on the wait-list on the app. Waited like 1.5-2 hours to get our table. We order pretty much a lot. If you order more than 15 plates you definitely get a prize. Sushi is mediocre for this type of establishment. Love the conveyor belt, you can picked your favorite sushi. I like to go for the raw sushi. There's some hit and miss with some due to their freshness. It's a cool place for a date. But plan ahead because there's a wait. Nice to see KC is on the map here.

The sushi is good. They charge by plate and man, can those plates add up. Expect to spend more than you might expect. Or maybe not. Maybe you aren't a greedy little sushi hog like I am. Honestly tho, it's worth it and I don't think overpriced at all. We spent under $100 for the three of us.We went midweek late afternoon to avoid heavy crowds. They do have an app in store that allows you to place yourself on a wait list so that you can do other things beside standing in line. Due to our timing, we were sat right away.It was disappointing to be sat at, what I imagine is, the end of the conveyor belt. The offerings are limited and sparse where we were sat. They make up for it by allowing you to order at the table and I have to say that the made to order was quicker than I expected!I ordered a diet coke ($3.50) and it arrived by robot (very cute!), but it was only 3/4 full. That wouldn't bother me, but you can't order refills at all. You have to purchase another drink.Another minor complaint is that the sushi rice sticks to the plate. A small, but mildly annoying thing.I will definitely go back tho. The quality of the fish is good. The only thing I'd stay away from is the crab leg sushi. The crab is real, but it's watery from being defrosted. It neither smells, tastes, or feels fresh. The rest though? Pretty darn good.I'd fully give another star for service if it wasn't for the drinks issue. Maybe that is good 'ol USA entitlement, but I really wanted more diet coke. For free.Oh! Checking out was easy too. You can use the QR code and pay by phone or you can pay thru a server. They had only one for the whole place and she hosted and sat everyone, so she was super busy. Aside from being sat, you don't need a server tho if you are paying electronically. All ordering was super easy.If you are an old like me, don't forget your glasses! The ordering screen is kinda tiny and hard to read. Speaking of which, bring some hand wipes. Everyone touches that thing (including me) with their sushi fingers. ?

I used to frequent a sushi restaurant in Japan, and recently visited a store in the US for the first time. The interior was brightly lit and clean. They offer sushi with vegetables and other ingredients, such as Karifu rolls for those who cannot eat raw sushi, as well as many side dishes including edamame, fried squid, miso soup, udon noodles, tempura, sesame dumplings, and other desserts. The drink dispenser was also interesting and cute - I think children would love it!

This place is very different from any where I've eaten in kc, I felt like I was somewhere else!! The sushi was good, not the best I've had but not the worst either. The dessert with the little fish cake and bean paste was delicious (can't find the name anywhere, photo attached)A person brings you to your table and explains how everything works if it's your first visit. You place your drink order on a screen, then a little robot brings them out. All of the food is brought out by the revolving belt that goes past each table. If you order from the menu it comes straight to your table on a different belt. We were checked on once for refills, which was just fine. We did press the button to ask for help, we had a question about a menu item but no one ever came. That is really the only complaint I have and it wasn't a huge deal. Be careful though, those $3.25 plates add up very fast!!!

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and smiley greeting from Bella that set a fantastic tone for our dining experience. Our server, Kayla, was nothing short of exceptional. She was polite, attentive, and truly contributed to making our visit memorable. The food was outstanding, living up to every expectation we had. Despite the 3-hour drive from Chapman, KS, it was absolutely worth it. A big thank you to Kayla for making this day amazing! This visit to Kura Revolving Sushi has definitely earned a well-deserved 5-star review from us.

Food was good and great variety. Took them half hour before we got drinks supposedly they ran out of clean cups. Certain sushi didn't come to us so we had to order on screen. Good concept but unable to keep up with demand.

The layout and design of the restaurant was very appealing. I would not recommend for those with allergies that require modifications to sushi. As it is a revolving train they're sold on 2 to 3 pieces rather than the entire roll. The food I could eat was enjoyable. I would also take caution should you go alone. It was moderately busy when I went solo I had to wait an hour for a table. I saw maybe 10 or so couples the came and put their name on the waiting list be seated before myself. Note a few were sat at the 4 seat booths, which makea sense. However, there were about 6 that were seated at the bar style sections before I was seated. I did ask at the host stand they didn't have answer expect we're waiting for an individual seat. Which was surprising considered I was seated at the bar style section where a couple that came in after me were previously seated. It was fun, food was pretty good but I don't think I'd go back solo. Perhaps with a group if they want to try. The actual expert once seated was enjoyable.
