Trivia night was fun! The food was OK. Fried chicken tasted slightly sugary. My macaroni and cheese was really runny , like they forgot to bake it. But the next day as a leftover , it tasted great. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant, and our server left early ( 8 pm) and there was nobody to take over.

Nashville chicken sandwich was pretty good. Patio chairs and tables were quite wobbly when we had dinner here in early October 2025.

I was harassed and bullied by security. We walked in with ids in hand and then looked at like some loonatics then once we got in we had to seat ourself then once we got to a table no one came and took our order for like 30 mins and after giving them the benefit of the doubt and getting frustrated and didn't even want the food anymore we just went to the bar to order drinks and then politely asked for a menu just to see what there was and we ended up ordering at the bar and took the left overs to the car and when we got back we were harassed at the door and was told management was telling them to be attentive (but they weren't earlier when we went in) they kept us there for more than 15 minutes of going back and forth about my id and being gay. In my id picture I look exactly the same just no facial hair they proceeded to accuse my photo of being a women like I had a fake id or something. They finally let me in and we made it to watch our game but I felt so uncomfortable and disgusted I just left. I didn't want to give them or the bar restaurant next door any more of our money. I've never been so disrespected in my life. Who does that. We are just two guy that are friends catching a game and eating some food. We even still left a tip even after the bad service because we aren't horrible people.

I went out in Westport looking for music I can shake my butt to, and found it heat and there, but I didn’t get out of the scene what I wanted. UTILL we were leaving and stepped into laneys! With every other place full, and charging cover, they really ended the night right. We requested the birthday song for my birthday and the dj played right away! I didn’t eat, but it definitely looked like a place with good food considering the amount of others eating

I almost always sit outside and today I was served by Rischadaad. He was awesome. So entertaining and on point with the service. He mentioned he was new to bartending but you'd never be able to tell.

Who would have known KC has the best chicken spot we've ever been to. Wow. The fried chicken, the Mac n cheese, the biscuits... All of it was amazing. Friendly, fast service and reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

Walked in and got told I had to leave less than minute later. Asked why and they said “you just have to leave.” That was my only interaction with the staff.
I ordered a full order of wings that was so salty I probably could have seasoned 20 pounds of chicken. I told the waiter that the chicken was salty. After he spoke with the cook ( who supposedly tasted it) and manager they stated it should be that way, with no empathy to the unhealthyness of their food. They didn't even offer to switch my food out. Then,the waiter had the nerves to ask if I wanted a box. I wouldn't give that food to anyone. I'm glad St. Luke's is down the street because it definitely would have cause blood pressure issues even for the people without High blood pressure. This place is an absolute NO unless you want an ER visit.

The bartender Faith was amazing, however the waiter Canyon was nowhere near as well… how can I put it in a nice way. NOT the type for the service industry at all as he literally ignored our table and said that the server was let go when we walked in and he just literally walked away!! I’m sorry, WTH. If you see customers coming in and being seated YOU wait on them!!! It doesn’t matter if they are not in your designated area or not! If you’re short handed step up and take care of the paying customers. Not a good idea for the big companies that were involved in tonight’s big event happening there. Hopefully they’ll get it sorted out soon and get the staff on the right track.
