We arrived at LC’s at 820 pm while traveling through on 435 and these portions are huge I had the burnt end beef tips huge portion! My husband had the beef bbq sandwich again huge double decker sandwich. Our daughter had the turkey bbq sandwich. We also had fries coleslaw and fried mushrooms. Needless to say we had a second meal in leftovers. Very friendly staff even while they were busy remained positive and engaged with the customers. First time Kansas City BBQ we are happy we ended up at LC’s!

We’re no locals by any means but we’re huge authentic bbq fans and love supporting locals. After leaving KC disappointed so many times over low quality bbq places claiming to be the best, we decided to give this place a try today before we went to a drs apt..y’all have completely restored our faith in KC bbq!! These guys have it figured out and are hands down the best bbq you can get in the area!! You’re going to get giant portions of amazing food and smell that smoke before you even get there. Keep doing what you’re doing!!

Terrible serive !!! Been going to this place since I was a kid. Have ordered my beef sandwich cut against the grain the same way for over 30 years, which the owner him self told me how to order what I enjoyed so much at his restaurant. Went into today ordered my sandwich as usual but this time the lady or guy not sure how she identifies. Had such and attitude. My sandwich beef cuts are as thick as stake, hardly Any fries. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was just told no refunds, which I didn’t want one I just wanted to what I paid. This place has not and will not ever be the LC I remember. Miss walking to the corner where LC sat, I could tell him my order was wrong and he would stop what he was doing and get it done right

Ordered a beef sandwich and a short end dry. The sandwich was nearly all fat, the good part was quite tasty. The shortened was tasty if a bit overchared. The beans fries and slaw were good. I think we just got a bad sandwich (hey it happens) I would try them again, just check your order before leaving.

Came here for my food pick up, stayed for the atmosphere, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing. Nice workers and the restaurant smelled amazing. Whenever I go to Kansas City, I always make sure to drop by.

Burnt dried out turkey. Absolutely the worst I've ever had. Also my burnt ends were 95% pure fat. Place used to be better. Shame.

Had the burnt ends they were nothing but fat and tough and it tasted like lighter fluid horrible experience 2-21-2025 4:30pm I forgot to add the gentleman came out and gave our food to somebody else they did remake it however not good and I spent almost $50 on this
