Los Alamos Cocina is easily the best authentic Mexican food in KC. The menudo and pozole is best ive ever had and the chili rolo and verde are both outstanding, tastes exactly like homemade because they are. Wonderful family owned stop in a historic area of KC. oh and dont forget to treat yourself to the best chillaquiles and eggs you'll ever have. Delicious!
The catering we got for our New Years feast was a huge hit as well: tamales, pork verde and menudo. EXCELLENTE!
I stopped in here to grab a bite to eat after doing some Christmas shopping next door. There was no clear signage of where to order, or whether to find a table or wait to be seated, luckily since there weren’t many customers the employee working up front spotted me quickly and took my order. He was very friendly and explained to me the menu items they offered, but I did not see any menus anywhere. so I chose chicken tamales. I sat down and he quickly brought the soda I ordered...
This place is crazy good!!! I am not sure that I have ever had any more flavorful food than what I had here. You have to try the pork ribs in the green sauce which is to die for! And the chicken with whatever that red sauce is it's literally the best chicken I've ever had. The carne asada special was amazing! This place is fire!
