Chips and service were excellent. The salsa however, was just tomato sauce and had no spice whatsoever. I ordered a burrito bowl and it did take a while and when I got it, it was on the colder side. It was good ok, Honestly, I’d come back because their service is great. I think next time I’ll just order some chips and drinks. Great service though!

My mother and father want has teens and now I take my grandchildren. But not anymore! After driving 1:20min one way to get the worst food I’ve ever had there. Then we got the wrong food and had to wait twenty min to get the food we asked for the first time. We get charged for the wrong food again. Maybe it was that or maybe the hair in the food that made this so disappointing. But I will not do this again! All good things come to an end, and this is the end! Three $ for a taco and nine $ for a burrito? Taco Bell makes better food for less!

I wanna be quick with this and not exaggerate at all. I don't write reviews often, but listen; This is the most plain mexican food you can buy in KC. First you get a warning - The chips and salsa come out. Salsa tastes like they opened a can of tomato soup and called it good. Yes really. The food comes out, no matter what you ordered, every item is covered in cheap shredded cheese, diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Very luxurious. You know what kind of mexcan food this is. We've all had it. Who gives af about the margaritas when your tastes like it was cooked by a front row pew sitting protestant. I'm white as hell btw, I can say that.I'm grateful for food, and kitchen workers and other staff, but when I get a meal for one and a beer and it costs $30, it has to be at least mid tier and it's definitely not that. So I wish I could go back in time and stop myself, but the only way I can scratch that itch is to write a review.

All I have to say what the heck is that. I should’ve just gone to Taco Bell at this point! It looks like a mud pie. I’ll forever stick to going to taqueria Mexico or rancho grande.. I will most definitely not be returning. The food use to be great back in 2010. But it’s seriously went down hill, every time I try to give it a chance it fails me. ? Never again

I’ve been going here for years. The traditional margaritas are the best in the city. The burrito spread and the shrimp and fish tacos are delicious! Go into it knowing the salsa tastes like marina and enjoy it!

I don't know if it has changed owners or not, but the salsa was horrible tasted more like marinara than salsa. Portions were a lot smaller than they used to be. Food all around was not good. Service was fine. Not the Los Corrals I remember.
I've been going here for years. Tonight will be my last time ever, the food has gone downhill terribly, they have all new kitchen crew that can't get orders right. We ordered beef tacos and received grilled chicken ones, a pork burrito spread was a grilled chicken one, the soupy beans were burnt refried beans, the hot sauce was the same as the regular. Time for a makeover of the inside, some additional lighting, my grandson said it was dark to hide the bugs and rat droppings and the hostess wastes alot of time going back to prep a table then takes her time then to come back up to walk you back. 1 waitress had too many tables and was going crazy. Not her fault for poor management and kitchen help.Parking: This place has been here for years along with the peanut and there is never ever any parking late Friday thru Sunday. Employees park on the street, the townhouses across the street are taken by residents, where do patrons of restaurants park, far away or up the hill.

So one plate was tacos, rice and beans. Rice and beans were cold and the taco filling was chewy. Odd that it would be, but it was. The burrito plate was a solid 8 easily and had a fair temp. Waitress was good and checked on our table frequently. The restaurant has a bar area with tv and plenty of seating. I was disappointed and if I were to go back the only thing I will rave about the chips were hot and freshly fried and their salsa both hot and mild were quite tasty!
