Unfortunately all of our Seafood was overcooked (bacon wrapped shrimp, scallops and halibut).
Good was excellent. Everything was perfectly prepared. We were in a smaller room which was nice and quiet for an intimate meal.
Food was mediocre. Service was lack luster. Decor seemed dated and tired. Will not be returning.
We had to wait 20 min for an early reservation when the restaurant was not crowded. Hostess was less than pleasant. Waiter spilled oyster ice water in my lap and didn't even know it. Having eaten there and other locations in the past I expected much more. I guess the multiple chain brand as part of a very large corporation has just lost their way. At least there are many more dining options in the world.
Went to celebrate Father's Day's, everyone was really welcoming, our waitress was wonderful! We had the chef's special and it was especially delicious!
Went for a late lunch/early dinner before attending a Royals game. We had an excellent waitress and the GM Nicole even stopped and sat with us, because she heard that we would be a fun table. She helped us with some recommendations, which were spot on. We had the shrimp kisses as an appetizer and ribeye's were our main. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The staff were so nice and fun to play along with us. Definitely would recommend to anyone to stop and eat at this location.
Always a great place for lunch overlooking the Plaza. Fresh and good salads. Tasty meals. Good service by Michael.
My husband and I enjoyed Easter lunch at McCormick and Schmick's. We both ordered cocktails and they were delivered in a timely manner. They had a good amount of liquor in them without being overpowering. We received our calamari appetizer and bread first and they were both fresh and delicious. I had the stuffed salmon and he had a filet. Both were fresh and flavorful. Our server was attentive and polite without being overly performative. We enjoyed a chocolate bag dessert and coffee after our meal and it was the best part. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly. The bathrooms were also clean.
If you have a few hours to spare go for it. If your hungry, don't really on the service to provide the hospitality one would expect. The confusion started when we check in on a Wednesday night for a 6:30 reservation on time. Seemed difficult for the to figure out where to sit us in an empty restaurant with maybe 30 other patrons. No communication on what we were waiting on, then to our table. After 20 minutes a server finally stops by to greet us after seeing me roam around looking for life. The rest of the dinner experience was the same. Ironically, the Pork Chop was excellent and the Salmon lacked flavor...
We enjoyed having lunch here today. It wasn't busy at all at 11:30 am on a Saturday. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich that came with mashed potatoes. I had the lump crab cake sandwich with fries. Both were excellent! Neither of us could finish the sides as the sandwiches were so filling. We bought a chocolate bag to bring home for later tonight.

Was there for my birthday. Our waitress was amazing! My scallops were delicious. (Husband's Maui Maui was a little dry) The chocolate bag, along with the presentation was supberb!!!
Our food & service was AMAZING!!!! Thanks to Julian for an unforgettable experience for our birthday celebration!!!
When we arrived for our reservation for my wife's birthday, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The server greeted us again, provided the days menu, and took our drink order. She brought our drinks and took the order for our meals. A few minutes later, she brought our soup and salad. About five minutes later, our meals were brought out. The meals were prepared as requested. Later, the manager stopped by to check on us and to chat briefly with us. The food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was outstanding. We had a wonderful time.
Reservation was made with request to sit by the windows (date night), but instead were sat under the dome (even though there were open tables). Disappointed, but excited to try their 50th anniversary specials, we informed our waiter that the only seafood we didn't like was blue crab and warm water lobster. He went on to recommend the crab & shrimp stuff halibut. He claimed it was “Alaskan crab”. I asked him to check w the kitchen since that didn't make sense to me, & he confirmed. One bite — I could taste blue crab. Since he didn't return to the table, I asked a near by employee what the fish was stuffed with and she confirmed blue crab. Service had already been dismal (waited 46 min for salad), but this was very frustrating. My partner was nearly done eating when the manager came to fix/replace the dish. She was the highlight of the night, but unfortunately the server returned to the table to double down that “it is Alaskan, but its lump blue crab” — instead of me being passive aggressive and asking him if he knew the difference in the ATLANTIC vs PACIFIC oceans, or asking if he knew where Chesapeake Bay was vs Alaska, I just left it as he was an uneducated egotistical man who felt the need to be defensive rather than say he never confirmed with the kitchen. Working in a seafood restaurant, he should expect that seafood lovers would know the difference in flavor if they specifically point out 2 types of shellfish they avoid. Like oysters, I am specific to the ones I like and the brine type — odd to me that he was not willing to confirm when asked. Anyway, we usually love M&S and there is one hostess who's been there forever and she's awesome and runs a tight ship — but this time, we were let down on all accounts (seating, service, food, etc). Thank you to the kind manager who was putting out fires all night. I hope this was just an off-night, but we likely won't return for awhile if at all, especially since EddyVs is nearby.
Our reservation was to celebrate a family birthday. The restaurant was beautiful, perfectly decorated, the atmosphere and noise level were perfect. The food was delicious. The service however, took a very long time. There were huge gaps in time between ordering, refilling, delivering food, etc. For a family that also included two small children 2 1/2 hours for a meal was way too long.
