The sea salt dusted mocha chip cookie is amazing. The cappuccino was equally good. My only “complaint” is, why ask me if my order is to go or here. When I answer, “I’m going to savor the cookie and coffee here”, please don’t put the cookie in a paper bag and the coffee in a paper cup. I feel like I’ve been given a doggie bag. I am a guest in your place of business, and I’ve come in to relax, recharge and enjoy some quiet time; instead I felt rushed, drained and overwhelmed by the loud music.

The matcha was not great. The baristas were find and quick.

They do have decaf option which is actually pretty tasty, and the pastries are good, but unfortunately they use the Pacific Foods Oatmilk brand for their oat milk which is not very good at all. No Oatly :( Will probably not be back for that very reason.

Website says it opens at 7:00. Arrived at 7:20, but the door was locked. There was a girl inside who wouldn’t acknowledge us and a handful of other customers waiting outside in 30°. Don’t mind if you’re delayed or short staffed, but to just ignore five waiting customers is ridiculous.

I love the downtown location. First time coming to this plaza location and it was not a very good experience. The barista that took my order was very rude when I asked a question and just seemed annoyed that she had to be serving someone. It's a very small space so when there's more than 4 people in line, it's quite cramped. They do have tables to sit at, however they're also very small. The drinks are normally top notch at Messenger, but even my coffee at this location just didn't meet Messenger standards.

Coffee is good, but the people that work at this particular shop are some of the rudest and i don't say that often. They don't communicate how their medium is actually their smallest size. When asked if it was their medium after i got my drink, they just said yes. Didn't apologize and didn't offer to correct. Also, Messenger in general (this isnt directed to just this shop's location or the employees), but they almost refuse to make their special/seasonal drinks iced.. i don't know why. If someone is going to pay over $7 for a drink, they should be nicer and able to accommodate. Not everyone likes hot coffee. It's just too expensive for what you get

One of two locations in the area from what I saw. This is a smaller more cozy café that prepares a solid cortado with sparkling water. Haven’t been able to find too many shops that provide the sparkling water and take the time to pour a proper cortado. Whenever I am in the area, I do make an effort to stop by and have a cortado regardless of my schedule. Staff has always been pretty welcoming.

Early nice place and great staff - coffee was good l!!!
Messenger coffee is an average coffee shop at best. The coffee shop on the Plaza has very limited seating and only one restroom. If you are looking for a place to meet people, I suggest you check elsewhere. This coffee shop is not well suited for doing anything other than buying food and drink, eating it, and leaving. Today, I had to find a place to remotely work for an hour or so. I was lucky enough to arrive at the perfect time to at least be able to get a seat. I would've been unable to conduct my work at all if it hadn't been for my noise canceling headphones. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry, and didn't realize that there were far better places close by they would've made it much easier to get my work done. If the coffee was exceptional, it would've been worth it, but the coffee is only average.

Great hit mocha and awesome baked goods from Ibis bakery!!

Coffee was just OK. Ordered an ice coffee and they only have 1 flavor to go in it. Just your average, “We roast out own beans carefully selected by our expert buyers” coffee shop.
