If you find yourself in Downtown Kansas City, you absolutely cannot miss this beloved restaurant! What makes it so special? First, Milwaukee Delicatessen Company has been around since the Great Depression and has continued recognizing the classics. Second, it's a pizza joint where you can enjoy pizza-by-the-sliced pizza. Each slice is the size of your head, and there are sandwiches, salads, and all the local spirits! Last but certainly not least, their service is pretty...
Cool little place. I love the atmosphere here and the service was great. The homemade tomato soup was to die for. The pastrami was decent but a little too dry. I’ll be back if I find myself in KC again.
Definitely have a slice of pizza!
*Editing my review 6 years later to mention this place is one of my favorites in KC. The old fashioneds are amazing. Portion sizes are huge. And all of the food is extremely affordable! Always have great service as well. Such a great spot!!!!
