The drinks are great! I recommend the Matcha. The sandwiches are good, too! Always fast and I can make it and out in less than 10 minutes.

Mother Earth is that neighborhood coffee shop that makes you feel like a main character in a movie. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and amazingly talented and knowledgeable baristas make this place the best for coffee and breakfast/lunch in Midtown!

The baristas here let personal, petty issues impact the way they serve customers. Rude. Will not be going back.

LOVE the strawberry and cream smoothie, highly recommended. The interior design is very nicely decorated and the service is great. Also the drinks and food!

it's so easy to get in the habit of posting only when you have a bad transaction, you sometimes forget to reward or mention great food or great service. I was reminded of this the other day and so I thought I would mention going to mother earth for the first time and having a iced caramel latte it was the most delicious latte I've had ever it was rich, thick, earthy tasting. It was delicious. I drive about 25 minutes just to go there and get one once or twice a week. I guess the only complaint that I could think of is I wish they had more locations other than that it's a nice comfortable atmosphere. They have a lot of food options and again the coffee is , the best I've had in Kansas City!!!

Great baristas and lots of space and seating. Easy parking via garage at south. Coffee is wonderful.

I was in dire need of an afternoon treat on an unseasonably warm late fall day when I realized I was close to Mother Earth Coffee and that I'd actually never been here before. I was familiar with the brand because from back in my barista days one of the cafes I worked at used them primarily as a supplier. So, knowing a bit about the brand I was especially interested to check out their brick and mortar. When I walked in it wasn't busy at all, but again it was probably 3:30 in the afternoon - nowhere near peak coffee shop hours. I knew I wanted something cold, I wanted something a bit different, or new to me, and I didn't want anything too heavy. I was hoping for some kind of iced coffee variation that would be a bit sweet without being syrupy or too heavy with milk and cream. I was looking at their menu when I became curious about one of their on tap cold brew concoctions. I can't remember the name, but when I asked about it the barista explained it was half lemonade and cold brew. I asked if it was any good and he was like "uhhh I'm not sure, I don't care for it but some folks love it" then he offered to sample some for me, which I was like sure! I was expecting to hate it, but I honestly loved it. I was so shocked that this was actually delicious, I ordered one, had some laughs with the barista, and was on my way, fully caffeinated and happy.

It takes forever to get through the service line and unclear where it begins. Another person cut in line front of myself and another customer. The person taking the order was oblivious. The customer behind me walked out in disgust. I followed soon after.

I live on the road, and try to always seek out a unique location for coffee.Today took us to downtown Kansas City and the Mother Earth Coffee Company. We ordered espresso drinks and breakfast.Meticulously crafted, the espresso is more of a medium roast, and does not have any burnt overtones at all, it was delicious and satisfying. We ordered a breakfast croissant and also a chorizo burrito. Excellent flavor, and texture, and they were served hot and crisp.Plenty of parking in a covered parking ramp next door.Great vibe, and atmosphere.
