Moti Mahal is our favorite Indian restaurant in KC. Reliably excellent service and balanced dishes. I think they have mastered the balance of how much yogurt/cream to use.

The mango lasse is always a big hit. We had a variety of plates and shared. I hope the buffet returns eventually?! Always pleased with every visit

Pre-covid they had the best lunch buffet and I wish they would bring it back! I have been eating at Moti for several years and it is the best north of the river. Not only is the food delicious, the naan is some of the best I've ever had and the family that runs the place is warm and welcoming. Excellent experience all the way around, every time!

Watery curry and vindaloo. Old ugly decor. As a patron I feel as if they take my business for granted. There was clearly no pride in their establishment or menu items.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is incredible – the flavors are vibrant and authentic. You can really taste the passion and care that goes into each dish. The service was warm and welcoming, just like the hospitality you'd expect from Punjab. A truly unforgettable dining experience.
Me and my sister decided to try something new so we seen this place and decided to give it a try. However we were super excited to try this restaurant. We walked in we went to the counter and grabbed a menu and took a seat we also stated this was our first time trying it and smiled. The lady was real dry no smile but that’s neither here nor there. We noticed a white couple come in after us and the lady greeted them and brought them menus and water immediately !! Umm ok , we wasn’t offered water. she proceeded to pass our table and doubled back to give us water .We also noticed she took their order before ours. At that point we knew this isn’t the service we deserve nor will tolerate. We left. Because of that is why I gave a 1 star 12/18/24 @ 6:30pm Berry Rd location . I will not recommend to anyone because of the service. Being kind goes a long way. We end up trying Swagat (Fine Indian Cuisine) the service was great and the food was even better.

We weren’t mistaken for carry out. We actually told her it was our first eating here and we were dining in. Again I appreciate you for trying to rectify the situation. If we do decide to give it a try again,maybe we’ll go to the Westport/plaza location. She was intentionally rude and didn’t want to serve us. I did mention the couple we were there before sat directly behind us. Still would not recommend Barry rd. Location. My 1 star is for service not the food everyone because we never made it that far. Thanks !

My husband and I just ate at Moti Mahal- We looked for a hole in the wall restaurant because they always have the best food. Moti Mahal exceeded all our expectations. Best Indian food we’ve had in years- The ladies that were working were pleasant. We will be returning.
