We went here to celebrate our 21st anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place for it! Traffic caused us to be 5 minutes late for our reservation but they were understanding and held our table. The table had a note wishing us a happy anniversary and was decorated for us. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The food and cocktails were delicious. My wife loved the warm butter cake dessert. We enjoyed it so much that we discussed making this our new “go to” for all our family celebrations from now on.

Food was remarkable. The presentation was stunning. Our server was JD he was outstanding. He gave excellent recommendations. The leadership from Jeff the GM to Julio the Ex Chef and Jr the Ex Sous Chef could not have been better. If you like Eddie V try Ocean Prime you will LOVE Ocean Prime!! Frankly, after this experience we will only choose Ocean Prime.

Sunday night's experience was nothing less than outstanding. The visit started off by being at the bar and watching the game until my reservation and being taken care of by Fender. Fender is a very knowledgeable, friendly, engaging team member I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with. Service was perfection. Dinner was top-tier service provided by Alexander, who I have dined with in the past. It was so nice to catch-up and visit with him while enjoying 5+ star culinary selections such as shrimp cocktail, whipped potatoes and grilled salmon. I never tire of those culinary items. This was my 22nd visit this year to Ocean Prime....the service, food and impactful/impressive General Manager make coming to Ocean Prime a very easy choice. The restaurant is a Kansas City treasure and we are fortunate to be a location in the Ocean Prime portfolio.

Food was exceptional, the A5 wagyu is to die for, Sushi was super fresh. Our waiter Adam was so personable and amazing, the most accommodating. I highly recommend a night out at ocean prime.

Our waitress was fantastic!! Our steak was cooked perfectly. Crab cakes and lobster bisque are a must! 10 layer carrot cake was to die for! So yummy!

This is a great place for a special occasion. It was my husbands birthday so they decorated the table and we were offered a free dessert. The atmosphere is nice for that special occasion with the white linen look and attention to detail. They have a large menu that can be used to your advantage to save a few dollars. The appetizers are nice size and can easily be a entree for a smaller eater or if you are wanted to try a variety of food. The service is good and they give you a nice amount of time between you dishes. Because of cost this is not an frequent restaurant in our list of regulars but is great for a splurge.
