Very overpriced, poor service, almost always get the order wrong and left me standing for over 5 minutes while they chatted away.

This is my go to place for my mocha and smoothies on the regular. The food is also very good and I love my servers. They are amazing people!

Food took 45 mins to show up. I understand things happen and it gets busy but would have been nice to know ahead of time regarding wait time. Loved the environment and decorations.

Sausage gravy excellent. Service terrible. Took 45 mins for 2 eggs, sausage, and Biscuits and gravy. It was not busy. The servers were cleaning tables with dirty rags then would go right into the kitchen and pick up food plates to serve guests. Just gross.

Great atmosphere and a large restaurant with a coffee bar and a drink bar. Staff was friendly, the coffee was good and the lemon cookie thing was pretty tasty. Thumbs up.

I got a piña colada smoothie with double shots and it was so damn good. I think it’s the fact that it is a fresh smoothie made from fruits and there and then. I randomly came up into this emporium, but now is in my list of my go to”s when I come back to KCMO.

The food is mediocre for the price. Everything is self serve and if you want coffee and food you will have to wait in two different lines. My sausage was cold when I got my food. It's a cool vibe but not worth the price.

I came here to this restaurant on a date with my boyfriend. I've noticed that the music was blasting so it made it hard to relax. My boyfriend and I spent over two hours at that restaurant. The food took over an hour to get to us. The restaurant was very short staffed and one person was doing everything at that restaurant. After waiting over an hour for the food, we noticed that they gave us sweet potato fries instead of regular potato fries. When my boyfriend noticed that the fries weren't what we ordered, he went up front to try to ask for his money back because they gave us the wrong fries and didn't give us our mozzarella sticks. They finally gave us our mozzarella sticks which was alittle too late.

Went here with my girlfriend, waited for 30+ minutes and got the wrong type of fries and didn't receive our appetizer until we were getting ready to leave. I tried going to the kitchen line to at least get some money back but the place seemed understaffed and no one was working the register.Don't know if this was an unusual night for this place, but won't be coming back anytime soon.

This was a great choice. Normally when you wait a long time for a meal, the meal is stone cold by the time you get it, but here it was well worth the wait. The food was prepared fresh and brought to us hot and ready. You must come here and try their coffee and biscuits with gravy.

Solid place to visit when in the river market area. Aside from great food and great coffee always served with a smile, arguably one of the best places to get an old fashioned as well!

Not a quick lunch. Love all the options and stuff they offer but if you order food on a monday where there is hardly anyone in there at 11:05 am, you'll be lucky if you get your food by 11:45am. God forbit you show up on a weekend when it's actually busy. They'll turn you away at the door with timeframes of 2+ hours. not sure why they can't hire another cook, maybe the kitchen isn't big enough but I want to like this place but don't have 45 mins to wait for my food when I only have an hour lunch break.

Very hit or miss, depends on if the staff is having a good day or not. Many times, especially when ordering to-go, an item is missing or incorrect. The staff seems very dismissive of it, and maybe that’s why it happens so often. Something for you all to think about. I asked for a refund this time because it’s inexcusable when the establishment is not busy, this was a lack of attention and effort. Other items in the order were cold - it also took nearly half an hour for it to be delivered to our table? Nothing is adding up. I was disappointed one too many times. Not sure I’ll be back. Bummer.
