Parisi - Union Station

I hate writing 1-star Google reviews however, this one is warranted. Parisi was recommended to me by a good friend that visits KC often. I was so excited and looking forward to trying this place out. When we arrived, around 9:30/10am we were the only ones there. I went up to the counter and was barely acknowledged. She wouldn't even look at me. No smile, no welcome. I even told her this was my first time there thinking that would prompt her to say something or to give me some sort of history or any information but we got nothing. I went ahead and ordered because that's how badly I wanted to try the coffee. I ordered a Caffè Latte with caramel and my brother ordered an espresso. The lady that gave us our order just set it at the counter & walked off like she was upset she even had to work, went back to leaning on the back counter. The coffee and my brothers espresso were amazing. I wanted to purchase bags of coffee however I wasn't about to go through a painful interaction with the staff. Someone really needs to retrain them on customer service. Such a disappointment especially in such a beautiful location.

My most recent visit to this Parisi location was to provide a short tour to some guests from out of state. I've been coming to Parisi at Union Station since my first visit in the summer of 2021. They've always had good coffee and clean seating in the back of their shop. One of my favorite things about this location is its unique view of Union Station.

I removed a star because our pastries were served room temp rather than warm. I was excited for my guests to try the pop-tarts and it was underwhelming when they mentioned it was room-temp. Aside from the poptarts, we ordered a variety of coffees. I enjoyed an iced matcha with honey and lavendar syrup! Tasty as always.

Such a big fan of Parisi. I frequent there location at the airport each time I go somewhere! The coffee is always delicious and the staff is always so kind. They are quite busy so be prepared for the line!

The worst customer service I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. The coffee is equivalent to average gas station coffee. Many other great coffee shops to enjoy just a short walk away from this place. Took a pic of the cashier w/ the worst attitude of all time.

We stopped in and grabbed a coffee while we walked around. The blueberry lavender coffee was really good.

I want to give this place a Big thumbs up. Me and my children were there a couple weeks ago and my son left his phone there and we live 3 hours away, they mailed his phone to us for free. I appreciate you going above and beyond. Coffee and cookies are great too!!! Thank you again.

They happened to have opened up the Union Station location as early as 530 AM on a very necessary day

Great coffee. Staff is super friendly. Beautiful design on the coffee. Also in the spirit of the season they actually gave me a bag of espresso. I was taken back. I hope the manager knows what good service is. Blessings on this holiday season. Merry Christmas. God bless.

I had an excellent latte here. The barista even made a little latte art tree on the foam! I wish I had tipped more.

Coffee is better than Starbucks. The beans they are currently using have a citrus zest after and a fresh finish.

Today is 12/9/2024 around 12:00 12:30p Union station Kansas City Missouri inside Cafe as I approached the dining area I seen it was a nice size crowd so I went in as my first time went to the front counter as I glanced through the glass I began to ask question there were three young ladies standing around the register having an interesting conversation I began to ask questions about the cheeseberry croissant I asked if they had cream cheese croissant by itself they told me no then I asked about the croissant cream cheese and they said no while they're saying no I can tell a tense of anguish approach ones face I continue to talk about what I wanted and how much it was I paid for my items I headed to the dining area which I noticed that the tables were unclean I began to say is someone going to come out and clean the tables now mind you you did have a nice crowd but you had four tables that were dirty three women by the registers

Great coffee shop in a beautiful spot. Naturally, the prices are a bit high but the coffee quality is fantastic. The interior is actually quite underrated, they have a very peaceful and pleasant seating area in the back of the shop. I loved my mocha and loved sitting in Union Station to enjoy it. 5 stars!
