Ordered pick up. Love the food but the young girl at the register area was rude & not friendly. Didn’t add a good vibe to the restaurant.
Also, how am I supposed to eat my food with no silverware or napkin? Shouldn’t that just be added to the bag before tying it up? I don’t get what’s difficult about that & it’s happened two other times.😒

Nope, never again... Being a very southern girl, ( Va, TX, N. Carolina, and La ), I cook and eat real SOUL food. This wasn't it. Please don't think it is... This, of course, is my opinion. Our food is seasoned with more than just SALT. Our Mac and cheese is loaded with cheeses and cream, not clumpy or curdled, Microwaved leftovers. Broccoli and rice casserole, one of my absolute favorites, was disastrous. The broccoli that was in it were end pieces, and hard, woody in texture. And very few pieces of that. Mainly rice, with processed cheese sauce. No flavor. Greens were fresh but undercooked and hard as well. And salted, salted, and salted some more. Does anyone taste their own cooking anymore! No garlic, or onion, for shame, we are better than this... Cornbread was cake and greasy with butter. I was so OUTDONE! Oh well. For a plus, the music inside was great and brought back some really good memories, that the food did not and should have. See that's what SOUL food is all about the TASTE of the SOUL within us. And those treasured memories that follow.

They closed down the serve yourself all you can eat buffet during Covid. So now they run a buffet line, where you tell them what you want as you travel down the line, and they dish it for you. You then go down the line to the cashier and pay. You can choose to eat in or take it out.. I always get the smothered porkchops and Salisbury steak. (which are both fall off the bone tender) The meat is so tender and succulent. Everything here is like your Grammy made it..
The green and green beans are seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese is baked with several cheeses... so so good! They also have delicious sautéed cabbage, and peach cobbler to die for. Home baked rolls and mammas cornbread! omgoodness... I can't stop salivating, even though I can't eat another bite!
This is the best place for down home southern cookin!!!

The pork neck bones are so freaking amazing they have wonderful collard greens the green beans have good seasoning on them they even have some potatoes in them I loved everything about this place the service wasn't the greatest at first maybe they was just tired but it got better

I was so happy to find this restaurant. I saw it during the pandemic when they were only doing carry out. Unfortunately I am not often in the area.
I took my family here for a celebratory lunch and was so happy.
We all got the big Momma. I got neck bones x2 and fried chicken, with greens, green beans, and Mac and cheese, and corn muffins. PERFECT!
My sister got neck bones, smothered pork chops, and fried chicken with greens, green beans, Mac and cheese and corn muffins PERFECT!
My son got neck bones, catfish, and smothered pork chops with greens, corn, and Mac and cheese with corn muffins PERFECT!
We were seated under a speaker, so the music was a bit loud, but damn, the food was so good we didn't need to talk. For only me, it was a bit too salty, but was fine for my sister and son. It wasn't overwhelming, I just don't use a lot of salt when the food is seasoned well, And This Food is seasoned.
The meal was plentiful enough to get 2 meals.
My only complaint is there isn't a location near me.

Can’t go here anymore. Girl in the front has the worse attitude. She had baby hair and thick long fake eyelashes. Older man serving the food kept stopping to talk to another worker who wasn’t on the clock. Then he gave half of a spoon for every side. Chicken was dry. I waited for Mac & cheese. It came out and I was already at the register to pay. So they added it to my plate. Got to the car, it looked nasty and watery. I tried it, I didn’t like it. So I went back and asked to replace it. The young woman at the register had a horrible attitude. Told me “it just came out, it needs to settle” ma’am I’m going to eat this now, I would rather have another side. She rolled her eyes, and shook her head with an attitude and threw the Mac and cheese away. She was extremely rude. Corn bread tasted different. I tried giving ya another chance but it’s a no from now on. This place used to be the best. Idk if it’s the cooks, or front staff. Need to make changes. Would love to have back the buffet. It’s very overpriced for the amount you’re getting.

We were passing through Kansas City to get to Denver..my Uncle is a truck driver and this is the last soul food restraunt we would be able to order from for a while based on the part of Denver my Uncle lives in (No Soul Food restraunts out here in Denver)..the food practically gave me food poisoning and food has never made me sick and I have eaten all over the US...I am from Atlanta and I had high hopes because Peachtree is in the title..Never again...This Is It back home and our local spots are much better then this...The customer service was excellent but the food was awful...Never again..Absolutely not...
