This place has the best steak tartare and filet mignon that I’ve ever had. The filet was so tender and juicy… simply the best. My family and I go every Christmas and it’s one of my favorite traditions because this place is so good!Kid-friendliness: My family and I go with everyone above 11 years old. That means that occasionally there may be a temper tantrum with the little ones but the staff always does their best to manage possible pickiness and short tempers.

The meal and the service was superb! We came here to celebrate two birthdays and two promotions for one of our grandsons and my son and daughter-in-law. I could not have asked for a better meal or better service!I got the ribeye, and asked for the Ancho Chili and Coffee rub. Amazing flavor. Each bite was heavenly. Absolutely perfect medium-rare as requested. And the service timing was amazing. They kept checking in on us, but not so much as to be annoying. They were always there exactly as we needed to keep drinks refilled and to remove used plates and utensils. I felt totally pampered. Haven't had this level of outstanding service at any other place in the Kansas City metro since we moved here almost 3 years ago.

Beautiful restaurant, well lit, quiet, comfortable & spacious seating. The food presentation is beautiful as well. You can dress up or down, it all depends on whether you are celebrating something special or just having a casual lunch, dinner, or date night. The steak filet and mashed potatoes were good, the shrimp was EXCELLENT, and their fish is DELICIOUS. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He had a great personality & sense of humor, which was nice. I enjoyed this restaurant.

Good service and drinks. Disappointed. Oysters were so tiny that they were smaller than the oyster fork. Calamari dish had one piece of tentacle calamari and looked like it came out of an air fryer. Left disappointed for the price.

The bar area was somewhat noisy, but everywhere else was pretty quiet which made for a lovely evening on our anniversary! The crab cakes were a little pricey, but good. Everything else from the salad, to the entrees and dessert were excellent, we would go there again for sure! The bread pudding/cake was to die for, and my sea bass was cooked to perfection!

I made reservations for this Friday for a date with my wife. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was very nice. We both ordered the Valentine’s Day special surf and turf. I had the Caesar salad which was very underwhelming. My wife ordered a medium steak and was given a rare steak. I ordered medium rare and. Got a medium. We switched and it was fine. They were very good. Our lobsters were mushy and undercooked . Our scallops were mushy and undercooked. The potatoes and asparagus were on point. I had the chocolate olive oil cake dessert and my wife had the carrot cake. Again unfortunately both were very very dry. I wanted to say something but our waiter was nice and it was getting late. For over $350 I expected a basically perfect dinner. But I can’t with confidence say we’ll return for dinner here.

Went for a belated Valentines Day (because of recent events in city). Overall a great experience but server forgot to order something for my husband's dish (which is why a 4 on service). However, I have a multitude of allergies and they did all they could to ensure I had a safe meal. I truly appreciate that as we do not eat out often because of it (a gift from our kids). Will definitely be back for special occasions.
Amazing as always! Everyone is always so kind, from the hostess stand to the serving staff and everyone in between. Our server, Alex, had some great recommendations. The filet was melt-in-your-mouth amazing as always.
