Yum-o!!! We decided to have take out with them today and it was a great decision on our part! If you're looking for a fun family meal, this is it!!!! The whole chicken package was plenty for a meal for both of us. The side dishes is bonus on the side, so tasty! Chicken is perfectly cooked, very juicy!!! The sauces and condiments to go on top of the flour tortillas is great too. We will definitely go back!
Damn this food is fine. I'm not really even sure where to begin. The first time I went to Poi-o it was at their original location closer to SWBLVD. During or around Covid I know they had to shut down and then reopened at this location in KCK. The first time I went I was spellbound by how this spot takes a Mexican spin on BBQ a la El Pollo Rey and elevates it into something really special. This place is SO delicious and prices are amazing for what you get! Everything we had was great. We did the 1/2 chicken and rib platter with 3 sides and a bowl of pozole. It was more than enough food and everything was delicious. Sauces were all great too! Loved the habanero sauce!
