They didn't take care customer's need seriously. At beginning, I told them many times that we have seafood allergy and they promised it is fine. I also double check with them many times before we eat anything and they said it is okay. In the end, we still had seafood allergy reaction. Luckily we took pill and everybody is fine. Shame on then, they asked us to pay all the bill and even service fee. How greedy and bad people! They sucks!

Ordered Mushu beef spicy with extra pancakes. Totally bland, no plum sauce, three torn pancakes. The dumplings had no flavor and were thrown away. No sauces or hot spices provided that might have improved things. . $50 ripoff! My wife said her chicken lomain was good. Hope this was just a bad night, because we frequent this restaurant based on past good experiences.

Great atmosphere! This place has been here 55 years! Workers have been there from the beginning! Food tastes different than you think, but very tasteful! Definitely worth trying before they close next year. :(

We really enjoyed our lunch again. The service is great, and the egg rolls and crab Rangoon are huge, as well as the main first course. The oriental decor really gives the place a nice atmosphere! They are currently only open Thursday through Sunday!

This place is my favorite so far!! Good Rangoon, good egg rolls (as long as they're not too soggy). Good service. My water was never empty. Definitely making this my spot!!!

I went here months after a getting recommendation from a friend originally from China on his favorite Asian restaurants in KC. As I stepped inside Princess Garden, I admired the usage of traditional Chinese art and a lucky color in China, red, being used in the interior design. The food was flavorful and probably the most authentic Chinese cuisine I've had in the Midwest, which I missed being from the East Coast. The roast duck was something different to me, and which I opted for in place of the Peking duck since my partner and I wanted to try the other dishes. The brown sauce in the roast duck was tasty and it was convenient not having to worry about biting into bones. My favorite was the spicy eggplant and my partner really liked the ma po tofu, where you can really taste the Sichuan peppercorn. The Beef Chow Fun had some noodles that were bunched up, but otherwise tasted fantastic. Overall, glad that I finally made a visit here!

This restaurant is a staple to Kansas City, and I know that they have plans of closing it down in the next few years, but it will be greatly missed...Their egg rolls are better than any eggroll I have ever had / and specially anything I can find in Kansas City!

Great vegetarian General Tsao's chicken, Crab Rangoon and steamed pork dumplings! Also, chicken fried rice is to die for! Great atmosphere from the 80s, with great Chinese padded murals on the wall and plenty of seating. Parking outside in a free lot.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options! Mixed vegetables, General Tsao's tofu, bok choy, garlic green beans!

Hidden GEM. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and personable. Our server was hilarious and answered all questions we had. They had two full pages of tiki drinks mostly priced at about $8! Our group tried several different ones and all were fruity and delicious! The apps and entrees were all piping hot and so tasty. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing customer service. I’d come back just based off the service alone. We had their spicy duck, peanut chicken, and general Tsaos and they were all phenomenal. The rice is a little bland if you like to eat it alone, but the flavors of the main dishes mix well with the rice. Their dumplings were great, but the crab Rangoon was more cream cheese than anything. The traditional interior is also a nice touch, as you don’t see it often anymore.Kid-friendliness: Very picky 10 year old chowed down on everything without complaint! Rare occurrence!

We love this place! Best Chinese in Kansas City. The crunchy beef is a must! Weirdly great tropical cocktails.

Best Chinese food in Kansas City. I love their Triple Delight, Combination Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, and Crab Rangoon. The food is Always Fresh, and the portions are large with lots of meat and seafood. The staff is so friendly and they always thank you for patronizing their business. I hope this restaurant stays open forever.

Honestly it wouldn't be the worst if my food hadn't given me food poisoning, only thing I ate the day before not being able to move and vomiting for about 24hrs, I ordered something with lamb in it. The lamb was not fully cooked and I got food poisoning do to this. I will not be returning and there is no way I could recommend this to anyone.
