As someone who travels to Costa Rica often, I was instantly drawn to Pura Vida—the name alone pulled me in. I’m glad it did.

The açaí is fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. I went two days in a row because one bowl wasn’t enough. The service is quick, the staff is kind, and everything is beautifully presented.

It is a little pricey, especially if you start adding extras like granola, but honestly? Worth it. This place hits the spot when you’re craving something real and refreshing.

I am from Costa Rica!! 🇨🇷 I live in Kansas City but I go to my country every year, I was just passing by, saw this place and of course I had to stop!! The lady that was working there was very nice!! She told me that the owners go to Costa Rica (Guanacaste) they got the idea of making this place!! I got a kids bowl of fruits for my 11 year old who is a very picky eater, She told me it was a 10 out of 10!! As a Costarrican this place made my day!! I will definitely go again ♥️
