This place is a hidden gem. Excellent drinks no matter what time of the day and plenty of options for a bite to eat even if you just want cereal. The coffee is amazing. They have excellent options for seating (couches, lounge chairs or booths) but you still can sit at the bar or tables to get work done. The staff is so friendly every time and really takes pride in their craft (excellent coffee).

could not find a table, due to the fact every table, booth whatnot had some one doing remote work.

Those were such good servers! They helped me clean the shirt and they even had sugar free vanilla.

Thou Mayest- super aesthetic and delicious coffee shop- lots of old, unique wooden, leather, etc decor, great mellow music, peeps reading books on couches, Studio Ghibli playing on a projector, etc!!😍😋

They could base a TV show around this place, it's so cool. I actually made the decision to move to KC/River Market after a stop here on a visit if that tells you anything. Such a great spot with different spaces and great coffee. And super friendly staff. Sold.

Cute little coffee shop with a cool decor and was excited about trying there coffee and food but I sat at the bar foe 15 minutes without being greeted or asked if I needed anything. About 6 staff members were all standing around talking about if they had to, would they rather give up drinking or kissing. This went on the entire 15 minutes I was there. I tried to get someone's attention but I felt ignored and not wanted. Very bad and disappointing experience 😔

Great atmosphere and the shaded sidewalk seating is prime

Amazing product and such a cool space. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that something needs to be done about the WFH people that buy one coffee and plant on a 4 person table for their entire work day. I would love to utilize this spot to meet with friends or have a business meeting - but all the tables are always full with remote workers. I understand taking up a bar spot or a small table, but it is always more here with one person taking up bigger tables.

I love this place! the girl with black hair and tattoos was super nice and helpful. I usually never go to coffee roasters like this but I felt very welcomed. The vibe in the building was very relaxing and peaceful. I wish they had food! but definitely recommend if you’re ever in kansas city!

I hardly visit downtown KC, but this was one of the best cortados I've had in a while. Perfect balance of espresso & steamed milk. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon.??

its a beer life

What a hidden gem just west of the city market. A craft coffee shop with the hippest vibe in KC.

An amazing choice of craft coffees and drinks. Take a break and sip some happiness while chatting with your bestie or catching up on the fat book you’ve been waiting to get back into all week.

If you need some H2O they have both regular water and sparkling water on tap by the lid and cup area just around from the order counter.

The decor alone here will keep you entertained for a significant amount of time. A cross between uncle jimmys get away cabin on the lake and a bite of metro KC. So many items here that bring back wonderful memories from times gone by

Staff were attentive and very friendly. We felt welcomed from the moment we opened the doors.

Take the time to get here and support this fantastic place.

Will definitely return again and again.

Parking: You can park at the city market lot one block away.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entry is ADA compliant as was the bathrooms and seating area

This coffee shop was conveniently located in River Market which made it an easy walk from any other business in the area (also by streetcar).
The actual shop had a sizable space when particularly on Labor Day, there was a lot of room for study and conversations which made the environment excellent.
The menu items are of typical nature for coffee shops and prices are fair. Overall a wonderful study spot with access to Downtown KC.
