QZ Poke Ramen & Boba Tea - Zona Rosa

Came here for dinner for ramen. I think it would have been better if they had traditional ramen instead of building your own. If I didn't know anything about the ramen, I wouldn't know what I should add. I didn't like that I could only add 3 toppings, and everything is extra charge.
For the protein portion, I didn't know how kimchi was a protein. That should be more of a topping.
I wasn't too much fan of the broth.

Edit (2 months later): changed to 4 star because they are playing Mexican music at an Asian food place it throws the whole vibe off feel like I'm at a Mexican restaurant

There was a great opportunity opening a ramen place in the north land. Coming here is convenient. The critiques I have is that it is a little chaotic; I have walked in during the day where an employee broke a machine, there’s usually a notification ding for the doors that go off, and they mopped the kitchen floors during the day and it creates this horrible chemical cleaning smell and leaves the floors wet. While it’s great that they try to keep the place tidied up, it is just real distracting when I am just trying to have a bowl of ramen. Some workers are friendly, some aren’t. Attention to care is not there. I would not say I go here for the experience, just the food.

I built my own poke bowl and I was genuinely surprised at how delicious it was! I got my sauce on the side since I had never tried them before. The house poke sauce and the ginger sauce were my favorite. You order at a kiosk but I had questions and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I've been eating some great poke over the last 15 or so years, from Hawaii to California and never had a negative experience, until now. Family and I ordered spicy tuna poke bowls and it was not what we were expecting. The tuna looked like some kind of pink foam, not fresh chunks of fish. The avocado was also not fresh and turning brown, not enough sauce was provided, and the whole bowl was not presented well. They prepare the bowls 'behind the scenes', ordered to-go so we were not able to discover this $82 mess until we got home...big dissapointment!

Love this place, lot more option to customize than mama Ramen downtown. Really good Thai tea boba.

I will say the ramen here is really good. Plenty of parking and seating. I went around lunch time where it was pretty much empty. Boba tea was really good as well. Definitely try if you are in the area

I created my own Raman noodle bowl with pork broth and chicken etc and it was fantastic! Highly recommend this cool place, a little robot brought our food too!

The atmosphere is great. I love the wall art. The staff is friendly. I love the little robot. Every time is glides by, playing its little song, everyone stops to watch it.
The food tastes good. I have been here a few times. My complaints would be that even the smaller serving sizes are huge. I have never been able to finish a meal here. Also, the boba sweetness levels don’t have enough options. It jumps from zero to 50. The 50 percent sweetness here tastes like a 75 percent in other boba places. I really wish there was a 25 percent option.

I had a very disappointing experience at Poke Ramen in Zona Rosa, KCMO. The service was lackluster, but what really ruined the visit was the food. It was clear that my poke bowl came straight from the freezer—it tasted just as bad as it sounds. While my family’s food was at least warm, mine was cold and even had ingredients that weren’t supposed to be in my bowl.

When we complained, instead of making it right, they simply took my bowl and warmed it up, as if that would fix the issue. What I was hoping for was an apology and a fresh, properly made bowl. Instead, they dropped it off like I was an inconvenience to them.

If you’re looking for a good experience, this isn’t the place to go. Save your time and money, and avoid Poke Ramen Zona Rosa. You won’t get the quality or service you deserve.

The food is great. The service is incredibly lacking. Upon entering people are leaning against this and that in the behind the counter area and blankly say hello when you walk in. If you would rather place your order with a real person, then use a sometimes confusing, large iPad ordering Contraption you are labeled as old… And out of touch presumably. There’s a large sign a top the cash register that says “senior express lane”… I am not a senior citizen, but I find this very rude. (See pic)-nope that there is no human in sight.

Wow. This place was amazing from the ease of the ordering kiosk, the robot delivery to our table, to the authentic and tasty Ramen Noodle bowls. The Crab Rangoon was pretty bomb too! Highly recommend making a visit.
