If you love feeling discriminated against this is your place! Absolutely nothing for those whole love the world and nothing for those whose care. I’ve never met a more racist, bigoted staff. Absolute disappointment to KC.Edit: the supposedly diverse staff was incredibly rude and kicked most of us out without reason. Nothing but a negative experience, can’t believe we were robbed like that.

Not the same as the old place but still a decent place to see a small show. Just wish they would adapt the sound to the crowd. No reason to blow out our eardrums when there's only 20 people in the place. And hoping they get a kitchen again sometime soon. Amazing how this old review is new again.

Way too many people crammed in for The Band That Fell to Earth. Trying to get to the bathroom was a joke. So hot inside people just left. Oh and the vocalists didn’t even know some of the words to the songs.

I did not see any food service, but that's okay. It was a great place to take in Cloudchord and Too Many Zooz. Staff were friendly and fast. It was easy to get drinks.If you're taking in a show, I suggest getting their early and seeing if you can find a spot upstairs.Seems to attract a good crowd as well. Great experience!

So not really a bar. Like, show up a little early thinking you'll grab a drink before a show and you'll be left standing on the sidewalk for 30 min...and the staff are Pretty crappy about it..like somehow you were supposed to know. Small place but come early as the stage isn't lifted and seating isn't on risers...that said, intimate place to hear a band

Record bar is quickly becoming my favorite venue in town. They have some great acts for really cheap ticket prices. This is also the only venue in town with regular beer prices. 6 bucks for a draft beer at a concert? Hell yeah ?
