The best selection of the best (and hardest to find) vinyl in the KC area. And they have fantastic coffee and bakery items as well. If you come here once, you'll be back!

Coffee is spot on. All the snacks look good, but I just can't get over the coffee cake. Shop out the music, always something great playing.

One of KC's best vinyl, 45s, CD, and cassette retailers, plus there is caffeine in lots of liquid varieties!

Imagine what happens when you mix a great independent coffee shop and record store with progressive activists.

It’s the most wonderful place to spend some time.

Why buy your coffee from the man when you can get it from Sister Anne’s?

Best coffee, vibe, and music in the city!

Great selection of vinyl. All in great shape. Amazing treats and coffee as well. Excellent customer service all around. This is definitely one of my go to stops when in KC!

Authentic coffee shop and genuine vintage record store all in one location. A must visit spot! I had a vanilla latte, and it was amazing! Best made coffee in town! (because they care about making it right)

In a quiet and beautiful corner of old Kansas City, many old records are neatly placed in wooden boxes, and nostalgic jazz has been playing. My husband and I drank black coffee and sat by the window chatting. It was a very pleasant afternoon in June and I wanted to go again.

Delicious coffees and baked good are the besttt in the area. All the pastries I try not to come too often because i always leave with whatever is in the case. I had a house warming party last month and spent over the course of 3 days probably 150 bucks and everyone loved the pastries. Go in and try this place out, you won’t regret it!

PROS:
Staff up at front counter was super sweet! Took the time to answer questions and talk with you. Latte was pretty good, and they used locally made coffee. Plenty of parking on a Saturday morning.

Selection was middle ground, but good for their size, and you’re paying a couple extra dollars for a local business, which I don’t mind.

CONS: Cappuccino was pretty bitter, so totally depends on your preference there! The person in the upper level was a lil sassy. We assumed you checked our records at the large counter next to the displays, so we asked if we checked out there. He told us to go to “the only cash register we have in the place,” as that was just his work space. Fair response but spoken as if we were plebeians who were wasting his time. Damn, sorry I asked. I put my purchase back, but my partner still purchased.

TL;DR - a decent latte and some good vibes. Middle ground record selection, and a mixed bag of staff.

The person behind the record counter was unhelpful and rude, frankly. The selection was also nothing to write home about.
The one person behind the coffee counter that I interacted with was nice, but the cappuccino was very bitter, may have been an extraction issue.
