Overpriced mediocre food crap attitude, nearly $20 for a sandwich no soda no fries fries or an extra five bucks sandwich was comparable to McDonald’s

I have never met a better group of people running a restaurant. I can’t even describe how nice and welcoming everyone here is. Considerate and helpful in every way.
And the food is great too.

We usually like coming here, but our last experience not so much. This is the second time we haven't received cole slaw, even though they asked us if we wanted it, and I do like their cole slaw, and the ribs looked like pieces had been torn off, and they didn't have any flavor to them, and we had the end parts of the rib, we weren't very pleased, and we may not return anytime soon if at all.

Lunch special was advertised for $12.49. got that and a Coke and somehow my total was over $22 so unless a Coke is 9 bucks I feel I was overcharged but no receipt to know what they did. The food wasn't bad but for a lunch special for $22 bucks I'd go many other places before coming back here.

Between the Service, the BBQ and atmosphere, It better then the average bbq place. Got to give it a 5 star for the price value too.

I got ribs which were ok loaded with sauce. Baked beans were too sweet for my taste. The fries were good and hot. Reminded me of a cheers dirt of small place everyone seemed to know each other. One of the waitress was sitting down eating with a group. Our waitress brought our food and never came back to the table. Not a very friendly establishment. I probably won't be going back.

Pretty disappointed. Burnt ends were just chopped up soft meat with the same wet sauce as my ribs. Not caramelized at all. Ribs had a weird skunk flavor. Fruit flies kept landing in my beer. Clientele was a mixture of sad and sick. Lots of overweight and coughing people. Waitress seemed like a mixture of sad and mad. Felt sorry for her. Stomach hurt afterwards.

Excellent bbq! Great service. This is our first stop after getting into KC for about 5 years. We went for a late lunch this time. The burnt ends are perfect and plenty of house made sides and a very good ranch dressing!

Best bbq in kc hands down. Short ribs fall off the bone. Burnt ends so tender. Brisket is mouthwatering. Hot bbq sauce leaves nothing to be desired. A perfect combination of sweet and heat. Will continue to eat here

Just left. Service was good. Food not so much. Brisket sandwich was tasteless. Chips were hard as a rock…..inedible. Asked for baked beans instead and was told it would be additional $8. Not recommended.
