Unreal good!! Prince Edward Island oysters were the best I've ever had, the salad with strawberries was delicious, our filet was perfect, the lobster tail was crazy good and made me love lobster even more and the mushrooms on the side, the best!! And they do corkage so we got to enjoy a special bottle of wine which was such a treat. Overall, couldn't have had a better experience!
This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, cheers to the chef and his team! Very friendly and fun atmosphere. Loved James! He explained the menu to us in detail and checked on us throughout the meal without being intrusive. This is our go to restaurant now!
We have been fortunate enough to travel around the world and have had some pretty amazing, memorable meals in wonderful restaurants. Our meal and the latest experience at Stock Hill for my husband's 60th birthday ranks among one of the very best meals we have had. The attentive and friendly staff made our special occasion truly special. The hospitality of everyone in the restaurant was exceptional. Every detail was perfectly and flawlessly executed. Our cocktails were fantastic. We both had two drinks because they were so good. The Get Swifty is one of my personal favorites. Our Caprese salad was elevated and scrumptious. Not surprisingly, our steaks were outstanding. The side dishes were spectacular, particularly the gnocchi. We feel so fortunate to have an asset like Stock Hill in our community. There is nothing that could have been better or more satisfying about our meal. We felt spoiled and we have yet another special occasion that Stock Hill has made more memorable. We will be back on the next worthy occasion. We only wish we could afford to come more often. But we have no regrets about the money spent on a truly perfect experience. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to spend an amazing evening together here. Absolute perfection, with a chef's kiss.
Fantastic service. Highly recommend it. Didn't realize Kansas was a hidden haven for beef quality! Move over Texas, Kansas is the new spot for steaks!
I can't say good enough things about our food! Three of us had the ribeye that was delicious and our daughter-in-law had the halibut and she said it was wonderful! We enjoyed sharing for side dishes! Jennifer, our waitress was excellent and she made the night special for sure with her great service!!! We will definitely be back!
James and Ben were very delightful and very helpful. We loved their service, professionalism, and effort to make our dinning experience great. The food was very good as always. Thank you guys
Our waitress got confused several times and delivered the wrong food or drink to the wrong people. Not acceptable in a restaurant in this price range. The food was amazing!
The service was good and the tuna appetizer was excellent. We ordered the cauliflower and scallop dish, it was horrible! We couldn't eat it. Even the fries were disappointing. Not worth the price.
Disappointing Anniversary Dinner – Not Worth the Hype or the Price My wife and I chose this steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary and brought our son along, expecting a memorable, high-end experience. Unfortunately, what we got was far from it. We spent over $700 (including tip), and the food simply didn't live up to the price tag. I ordered the Wagyu flight — which should have been the highlight of the evening — but it was overcooked, tough, and lacked the tenderness and flavor you'd expect from premium cuts. Some of our other dishes were also improperly cooked, and overall, the quality was mediocre at best. The ambiance was fine, but the vibe felt a little confused — it didn't know if it wanted to be upscale, modern, or casual. Service was okay, but not particularly attentive or warm for what should've been a special occasion. We were really looking forward to something special and left disappointed. At this price point, every detail should shine — and this place just didn't deliver. Would not recommend for a special occasion, or really at all if you're expecting top-tier steakhouse quality.
Always a top level experience at Stock Hill. Great cocktails, atmosphere and excellent steaks.

The decor elevates the look to a more modern steakhouse. Food was delicious and service was great.
Stock Hill delivered another exceptional steakhouse experience last night. The sleek, modern atmosphere sets it apart, and the food and service were outstanding as always. I had the American Snake River Wagyu filet—normally I'm not a big wagyu fan, but this one was phenomenal: tender, flavorful, and not overly marbled. Pro tip: start with the Rocking Horse cocktail—it sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. Huge thanks to Gabby and Roman for making the night even better with incredible service!
This was a great place for a family celebratory dinner. Plenty of diverse options for everyone's taste.
Fantastic first experience at Stock Hill. Our server, Nick, was very knowledgeable about the menu, recommending one of the two black angus ribeye offerings. My wife and I split that with the corn elote and gruyere gnocchi as sides. The ribeye was one of the best I've had in Kansas City. I was most impressed with the gnocchi which was creamy and delicious. Only downside was the noise level which was substantial even in the back of the restaurant. Overall very please with the food and service. Will be back for celebrations but may look elsewhere for a more romantic vibe.
Stockhill is by far my favorite steakhouse in Kansas City. My server introduced me to their list of creative cocktails and helped me find the perfect bottle of wine to pair with my meal. The steak was incredible, and the sides were delicious. The seasonal heirloom tomato side was so fresh and delicious.
