Amazing food and awesome service. We stumbled on it for brunch (the ricotta hotcakes were amazing), and ended up going back for dinner the next day. We had the Kangaroo loin, which was delicious!

Banksia - South Plaza is a charming restaurant and bar with rustic aesthetics and a lush greenery-lined wall. The space is bright, open, and inviting, filled with many plants, including healthy philodendrons that create a peaceful and unique ambience. The menu offers a range of dishes, including the phenomenal breakfast burrito, the outstanding Cuban pork with arugula salad, and the flavorful Moroccan salad with fried Halloumi cheese. Customers have enjoyed the Ricotta Cakes and the dirty chai latte, praising the food as astounding. Pastry options are also available, such as the popular pavlova, pear Danish, and fresh made Lamingtons, though due to high demand, some items may not always be available. The warm and friendly service adds to the welcoming atmosphere, while Murder She Wrote plays on the television and background music sets a perfect mood. Despite potential parking challenges in the morning, this cafe is a hidden gem worth visiting for both its incredible menu and relaxing setting.
