Mouse ran under my wife's foot during dinner this past Saturday night at Summit Grill in Waldo. We went out for a date night and were interrupted by a mouse running under our table and disappearing underneath our booth. Host/manager on duty said they have been working to take care of it but that it's "an older building" and are still having some trouble. Were charged full price for our meal and left halfway through.

Food was superb. Entree was well seasoned with a great sauce. Salad was delicious. Server was very pleasant, but slow to respond. They did appear to be under staffed. The atmosphere was lacking. It was extremely loud. We had a difficult time trying to carry on a conversation, although we were right next to each other. We will most likely return because of the food. Arriving at a different time may help with the noise.

Worst service I've ever received. Lily (our server) has zero customer service skills. My husbands card was OVERCHARGED because she "ran his card for another tables tab"?!?! From incorrect orders, to an absolutely horrible attitude overall... We will never go back. There are so many other fantastic places with phenomenal staff in Kansas City. Do yourself a favor and skip this awful experience.

Summit Grill is always good I went in for a function and we had a fried chicken slider as well as a beef slider which were delicious call shrimp cocktail, their incredible spinach dip, I have eaten there before and had their calamari, salmon, I've not had anything bad there.
Parking: Parking is a little difficult as almost all of it is street parking. There are a few spaces alongside the restaurant but other than that it is catch as catch can

Really great happy hour! A little understaffed, but everyone was doing their best. Food was excellent and even the cheap wine wasn't bad. Will definitely be returning!
