Typically enjoy HH at Summit in Waldo however, that was not the case for Easter. With 10 am reservation (made a month in advance) the 6 of us were placed at a high top in the vacant bar area and advised they were booked that we could not eat in the restaurant as we needed to indicate on the notes section of the reservation submission. Could only order off their "Holiday" brunch section and not the regular brunch menu. The quiche was delivered cold (two orders of such) and sent back to warm up. Just now looking at our receipt and it appears we were billed 20% gratuity AND we paid an additional 20% on top of that. Yes, our bad however, I don't recall any restaurant charging 20% for 6 people...8 yes, not 6 Anyway, will rethink Summit Grill in the future...too many other options out there! .

Lovely dining experience, I have been here many times and plan on doing so again in the future.Recently, I used Summit Grill's online reservation tool on a Friday evening. The place was packed, but we were seated within 5 minutes of the reservation. My food was delightful - I had the Farmhouse Burger and opted for steak fries as my side, 't'was glorious.My wife had the Fish & Chips, the fish was well fried and delicious - there was a lot there, to say the least, and also their fries deserve a mention as stout delightful chunks of potate.For dessert we split a slice of the cookies and cream cheesecake. Chocolatey and richly creamy, thank you very much.

Too loud to be able to converse without shouting (like being in a nightclub). So many hard surface make the environment an echo chamber. Not relaxing. Should add sound dampening panels to walls and more panels to the ceiling.

We had brunch here, and ordered biscuits & gravy, and a Summit Grill Burger, both of which were very good. Our server was most attentive, and accommodated our special requests (I wanted a different kind of cheese on my burger than was listed on the menu, and my wife wanted her water to be room temperature) happily. This is a lively place with a bit of an industrial chic style.
I was visiting Kansas City for the weekend and my friend who lives here suggested we meet up at this restaurant for dinner. It was not anything overly special, the service was fine along with the food. Moderately to higher priced. We each got a salad. I was not a fan of the greens used, but it was a decent size with good flavor. We had grilled chicken and goat cheese, salad, and salmon salad.
