This place is not good, please do not trust the reviews, ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with medium spice… not only was there no heat to my dish but there was no flavor as well. The Basmati rice was very mushy. The Naan was nice and fluffy but overall for food, if I could rate this place a 0, I WOULD.

Great food! Should be 4.5 stars. Many selections for lunch buffet. $20, but it came with Naan bread. Chicken and Egg Tikka Masala were rich and flavorful. Tandoori chicken was good but lacked lemon. Saag paneer was overspiced and had an odd, thick consistency. Vegetable dishes were delicious - best I've had. Raita and gulab jamun were excellent.

I love Indian food, and this is my favorite. It's the best money can buy from The Kansas line St. Louis. Selection is great, service is friendly, and the food is worth over an hour drive. They recently reopened their lunch buffet, so if you've never tried Indian cuisine, it's the perfect way to find your new favorite.

I'm so happy the lunch buffet is back. The wife and I popped over for a quick lunch. Everything on the buffet was STOCKED, hot, and delicious. They don't sacrifice quality when they're making big portions, and we enjoy the selection. Veggie Korma was as good as ever, and the garlic naan was flawless.
We'll be back again and again. Still my top ranked Indian lunch buffet again and again.

I woke up with a HANKERING for butter chicken and Taj Mahal came through. Hari & Crew were so welcoming, friendly, and FAST. The food tasted authentic and the garlic naan was simply exquisite. I really enjoyed coming here for lunch and will absolutely be back!

This is my favorite indian restaurant in kansas city. The food is always delicious and never disappoints.
The garlic non is a garlicky dream. The chiquinttika masala is smooth, creamy and flavorful. And the mango Lassie is super delicious. I could drink a whole gallon of it.
The waiters are very attentive, but sometimes it could be a little much. I had 3 people constantly walking past my table at all times asking was my food good or sometimes just hovering behind us? It was a little bit uncomfortable but it's better than having a waitress that doesn't pay attention to you at all and only gives you one glass of water.
Highly recommend. Don't forget to try their vegetable pakora!

Great food! We had the buffet. My wife and I are visiting from California. My cousin who lives in K.C. recommended this place. I'm glad she did. Delicious food with friendly service.
