Best coffee with depth, best ambiance, best wood floors (!), and best staff in KC. When the sun beats into the windows, it is magical, warm, rustic, Old World. Miss this place terribly. It was an every morning jaunt when I worked down the street. The maza chocolate chip cookie and shaker-roo/shakerado kangeroo desperado is divine.
I moved to KC last year and I've tried a LOT of coffee shops. This is simply one of my favorite places to go. The coffee is super delicious, the staff are super friendly, and the vibe is super chill. My only (super minor) complaint is they close so early, so I can't get late afternoon coffee from them.
Oh this place? A VIBE. All the way from the front door to the balcony up top. Not to mention the staff who are welcoming, warm, and charismatic every time someone walks in. I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know, and we all collectively agree…take care is simply the best.
