Absolutely one of the most amazing restaurants I have been to for dinner. The drinks were crazy and the food was perfect! I am not sure who the chef is but they are so professional and the food was flawless.

I had a very delicious, perfectly portioned gnocchi and excellent local red wine. Food came out quick and the crew on staff were all really friendly and sweet. The atmosphere is lovely- dimly lit, interesting decore and if you're real lucky they'll play you some Pheobe Bridgers deep cuts. š

We had an issue with the fried catfish that could have either been a parasite or just part of the fish. The waitress took the dish and actually brought it back expecting us to continue eating it instead of offering to take it back or ask if there was another dish we would like. We also had to ask to have it removed from the bill, which then had to be approved by a manager. The food was great but the customer service and how the staff handled the situation was sub par and disappointing. The guests we invited with us to dinner were shocked how the situation was handled and unfortunately neither of us will be returning.

This place is really amazing. The food menu is not extensive, but every item is well thought out and very tasty. The cocktails are center stage. The orange negroni is a marvel.

Cocktails were exceptional. Get a classic daiquiri or gimlet of any variety.

Went for a date night and had a very mediocre time. Not a single person came by to check on us, the food was sub par and the drinks were āokā. I wanted to come here for a while but was so underwhelmed that I wonāt be back. I understand the drinks are instagramable but beyond that, it wasnāt worth our time.

My wife and I were eagerly looking forward to our first visit to The Campground, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. The food quality was disappointingāmy pasta was severely undercooked, with raw carrots, while my wifeās burger was both dry and overly salty.
Additionally, there were concerning service issues. When our food was brought out, the runner mistakenly set it down at the table next to us. After realizing the error, they simply picked up the plates and placed them in front of us instead, without any acknowledgment or reassurance that our meals had not been touched. From that point on, no one checked on us for the remainder of our meal. Given the lack of attentiveness and the underwhelming food, we opted to leave rather than stay for the sāmores dessert we had originally planned to order.
Overall, we left feeling disappointed by both the service and the food quality. We had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience did not live up to them.

The Campground was on my list of places to visit when we first moved to KC, and I finally made it in this past weekend! I love the overall vibe, it was such an intimate and well decorated space. I got the burger and split fries, and both were exceptional! I also got the Quivering Forest cocktail, and it was outstanding. I have already been recommending The Campground to everyone Iāve spoken with since visiting, and will definitely be back in myself

I've waited a few weeks. Still kinda disappointed. Cocktails were great. Ty. Pork was great, husband happy. Ty. Fryer was down...oh well...happens. Sourdough starter was burned...not charred in that fun campfire way...and the bread? Hum. I can't imagine it was made in house. Consider taking this one off menu or, well...bake. Cuz the "rye" on the "reuben" sure wasn't. I love y'all for trying this...or did. But the mushrooms weren't seasoned, there wasn't saurkraut and there was no thousand island. It was a sad little expensive grilled cheese with mushrooms.
The old-fashioned was truly lovely. Ty.

It is always a great time. Amazing food and cocktails with extremely knowledgeable staff. If you haven't come for their holiday market in December, make sure to sign up for alerts as it will remind you of the small markets in Europe.
