I'm an old timer who dropped in to see if the Golden Ox bar had changed. Thankfully it was the same as it always has been. Wise decision by the Stockyards Brewing Co. Truly an iconic spot.
FINALLY, someone has mastered a delicious Hefeweizen in KC. The flavor has so much depth… reminds me of top-notch original European Hefeweizen‘s that are difficult to compete with. Thank you to the stockyard brewmaster for bringing me the fulfillment I yearn for in trying new beers!!!!!!

The Stockyard Tap Room Brewery is my FAVORITE brewery in Kansas City. It is such a warm and friendly establishment with the best staff ever. I’ve never had unpleasant experience in the several years that I’ve been going. It’s a home away from home. If you want a nice intimate place to have a conversation and throw back a few beers this is the place to go.
