I gave this place a chance despite the negative drama I have seen on social media surrounding their business because they are from my home town and every one deserves a chance. But in all honesty, it was not very good. I got two of the mini cheesecakes, an oreo and a cherry. I took 2 bites of the oreo and tossed it. The cheesecake isn't set its very runny, it also tastes of nothing but cream cheese, even with the oreo crust and topping and fudge, somehow that was even bland. It tastes cheaply made. Im glad I only spent $7. The customer service was very good.

Not worth your money. Extremely overpriced for their items that didn't even taste super great, the cheesecake lacks flavor and tastes like straight up cream cheese. Not great customer service either, the girl working at the time didn't have the best tone when we approached her with questions.

Their cakes are an absolute joke. They look like a child did them, and charge far too much for the quality given. Customer service is awful, and God forbid you criticize them in any way. EXTREMELY rude staff and management.I've had several friends work there who quit because they never got paid. The one time I bought anything was when they were new and in excelsior springs. Tasted like dog food.Do NOT support this poorly managed, joke of a bakery!

We did a cookie class that they hosted just for our group. It was a fun time and Rochelle was very good and knew what she was doing! The cookies tasted great and we will be going back the next time we’re shopping to grab some baked goodies!

Everytime I have ordered from or go into this bakery they are absolutely wonderful! The owner/baker is so sweet and takes the time to get to know you as a person and not just a customer. She made the cake pops and cookies for my baby shower on a super last minute schedule (due to my own scheduling issue) and they were perfect! The cake pops were moist and delicious and the cookies were super soft and to die for. They also did my birthday cake and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen, and was absolutely delicious, the cake was moist and full of flavor and the icing was so good! 10 out of 10 recommend

My family and I went to Muffin Top Bakery in their new location at Zona Rosa last Sunday for birthday treats for me. I have never left a negative review before but I have to for this place. When we arrived her son was mopping the floor and he wouldn't stop. The owner had to keep yelling his name to stop. We actually had to walk around him and he kept on mopping. The chemical smell was off putting. Smelled like a man's urinal. The choices of treats were very disappointing. The space is way to big for her small selections. We all three got something different to try. We ate them immediately but all three were so dry, basic tasting and boring. We had the smore brownie, peanut butter brownie and chocolate chip Muffin. These were worse them the stuff at gas stations. I would not recommend going.

Avarie and Rochelle are the Best Employees EVER!!!!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE OOEY GOOEY IS TO DIE FOR!!!!!! Definitely recommend 10/10

After reading these reviews I just had to write mine also. I too wish there was a choice for zero stars. Absolutely the most dry professional cake I have ever had. My daughter and I had this made for a special occasion and it was almost embarrassing. Most of the cake went in the trash and it was VERY expensive. At no point was I ever offered a refund just a discount on a future purchase. Who would return after that experience!! Also I found out later that my daughter gave a tip. That tip was not earned total waste of money. We ordered here thinking we would have a good, special cake for a special event and we didn’t. Please don’t waste your money here.

Ordered a cake for my sons birthday. Got a small one that feeds six paid 50 dollars for the cake. It was honestly the worst cake I have ever had. The cake had no chocolate flavor and it was the super dry. Get your cakes somewhere else. I could have made a better tasting cake from a box. And I followed all instructions of leaving cake at room temp. Actually did for 3 hours.

Had a great experience using Muffin Top for a custom cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday! They created a great "mash up" cake for us of the Cars movie and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Delicious cake and was the rave of the party!

I’m a new customer and I’m in love with this bakery. Everything I have tried so far has been super delicious. So far the cheesecake tacos are my fav! The ladies are super nice. I’ve seen them working hard to please a long line of people. Go check them out. You won’t regret it.

Owner is extremely unprofessional, and very rude. They charge professional bakery prices, but everything I tried didn't taste so great, and some stuff didn't taste fresh. We got a few things for an outing with the family and were extremely disappointed. Save your money. Maybe after more experience, their products will get better. I kind of doubt it though because it tastes like they use the cheapest of the cheap ingredients, and keep old items on the shelf. Do they use box mixes?

If I could give them no starts that would be better because one is way to much! Don't order from this bakery they don't follow orders with allergy restrictions. Way to much money to not get what you ordered. They didn't even refund me for the cupcakes they messed up.
