The Phoenix's jazz brunch is a Kansas City must-do, and it's even better when you have a server like Kelsey. From the moment we sat down, Kelsey was super attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. She knew the menu inside and out and had great recommendations. Plus, she kept our drinks filled and was just a joy to chat with. The food was amazing, the jazz was on point, but Kelsey's service really made the experience...
The drinks are solid, it's hard to make a horsefeather with the wrong ginger beer - but they've nailed it.
I enjoyed the outside seating as it's the perfect volume for me without earplugs. Service was on the high end of reasonable. Appropriate to drinking outside.
