Loved our dinner at The Savoy! Ate before a ghost tour that met out front. We ordered a variety of small plates and entrees. Particularly enjoyed the pumpernickel bread, the caviar dressed eggs and excellent carbonara. Enjoyed the atmosphere so much, we returned for some class cocktails after the ghost tour. Will happily dine there again.
The date appetizer was excellent. They have some of the best French Fries I have ever had.
The food and the atmosphere are terrific. Server was polite and accommodating. A couple of items either took too long to be served or, in one case, never was; but what DID arrive was delicious.
May did a great job - super communicator and aware of table at all times. The “Last Word” Cocktail was great! Pumpernickel bread was a great value! The chocolate ice cream was high on chocolate but low on cream!
Customer service was great and ambience was even better however the food felt warmed up and made from earlier in the week, including appetizers and main entree
It was only a Monday night, but the place was empty. They were out of several of the staple items on the relatively small menu. This was disappointing. Their wine list seemed limited to extremely expensive wines (maybe it's just me, very few under 80 dollars, many well over 100) so my friend and I ended up having glasses of the house wine. The food we ordered was good, the service friendly and somewhat attentive. The main reason I was there was to have the beets, which are no longer on the menu. I was crushed. The coffee was delicious and or server was kind and helpful. I just got the feeling that this is a struggling organization. I hope I'm wrong.
The Savoy is an iconic place in Kansas City. T he ambiance is so old world first class, cattle baron vibe. Loved the menu, limited but that means they make every Toto perfection. My ribeye was actually perfect and I gave some weird instructions. Our service was prompt. It not too pushy. We will be back!
Great artsy hotel. Great staff. A must see.

My wife has been coming here for 70 years. We have not been here since the change of ownership, but we were not disappointed. The menu is unique and we especially enjoyed the scallops. Chase is an excellent server. This place is not inexpensive, but we think it was totally worth it. Make sure you visit the art displays.

For a special dinner out, the Savoy is fantastic. We've been before, and it was great again: We had a fantastic waiter (he and all the staff were excellent) who knew about the history of the place, which was ideal ... we brough a historian visiting KC for the first time. The food and beverages were all excellent, and the oysters (and the sauces) were absolute Sublime. We will be back.
I recently dined at The Savoy at 21 in Kansas City, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with well-crafted dishes that hit all the right notes. The drinks were excellent too, with a great selection of cocktails and wines that perfectly complemented the meal.
The vibe of the place is really what sets it apart. It feels like an uplifted classic—a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or even a romantic date. The ambiance has this lovely balance of sophistication and warmth.
The only downside is that there aren’t many options for pescatarians or vegetarians, which can be a bit limiting. However, if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience with great food and drinks in a beautiful setting, The Savoy at 21 is definitely worth visiting!

We visited this place for our wedding anniversary dinner and it was exactly what I hoped for.
We tried Burrata di Bufala, Campo Lindo Chicken, smash-burger , Basque cheesecake and everything was perfect.
I also tried their old fashion and probably it was one of the best I have tried so far.
Overall I had an amazing experience, our server was also super friendly knowledgeable and made us feel really welcomed.
I would definitely recommend this place for a nice fine dining experience.

We kind of miss the ambiance of the old savoy which has been gone awhile but we had not been in many years. We thought the menu was a bit limited and what we ordered was just okay. It is very expensive but we would go back for a special occasion. The burger was the best thing we tried.
