I had the trout and it was cooked to perfection. I truly appreciated the variety of vegetables served with it. We started with the Caesar Salad (WITH anchovies!) and it was better than expected. The wine selection was very good and our server was extremely attentive. We are from another state big on tourism and the Savoy was a welcome treat.
Haven't been to the Savoy since it switched to a Tapestry by Hilton property. It looks like they are doing everything right to bring back a little more of the history to the hotel. We went to an early dinner before the Lion King Play. We arrived and departed after a wonderful dinner in just over an hour. (We had to make the Play) Julian was our waiter, and he did a fantastic job. Our drinks were outstanding. I had the Old Fashioned with their blended bourbon. It was delicious.
