New Me

The amount of times that I go into thou mayest, spend $10+ dollars, and sit down to get some work done, just for the wifi to not be working, is getting pretty ridiculous. This has been going on for the past year at least, so I think I'm done going to Thou Mayest which sucks cause I'm a regular and live in the neighborhood. Here's the issue (hopefully the owners read these): on random days, the Wifi will appear as WPA2 secure (has the lock icon next to the Wifi name on a Mac) instead of Open (doesn't have the lock icon next to it), which makes it impossible to join even with the password. Restarting the computer, running diagnostics, nothing has worked. It just randomly decides to work/not work. I suggest simply switching Wifi providers, because I've heard other people complain about the same thing at Thou Mayest, and I've never seen this issue at any other coffee shop before.

Was really looking forward to trying this place. Always walked past it and the coffee smelled amazing. Was thoroughly disappointed when the baristas acted holier than thou (lol) and had a terrible attitude. On top of that, the coffee made was absolute trash (burnt with zero flavor).

Coffee was fantastic — I got a lavender honey latte. Facility was beautiful. Seriously, beautiful. Atmosphere was a little pretentious in a hipster sort of way. Staff were nice but seemed completely shocked when I asked for suggestions as it was my first time here.

The atmosphere in this coffee shop keeps me coming back. I always feel like I’m transported to a cabin in the mountains when I go to Thou Mayest.

Love this coffee...love this company's ethics! I first tried this coffee in a little shop in Bucks County PA and enjoyed it so much that I Googled them and placed an order. It took a minute to receive the package but I was kept apprised of its progress through emails and given a tracking number. I tried 2 different brews, beans, and loved one of them as much as my first experience. The other one not so much, so I sent an email to the company stating that I thought maybe it had been overly roasted, maybe just a bad batch. I received a reply very quickly and long story short they sent me a new bag of coffee to replace the one that I was unhappy with. It arrived today and I couldn't be happier! I personally love the bold flavor so Super Ego and Boldly Go are my favorites! Thanks Thou Mayest!

Some of the best coffee I have had. The flavor of the coffee alone is amazing because I know my aromas and taste descriptors. The staff are really great people. I love ordering from here

One of the best spots in the area. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. This place has a nice feel to it.

My favorite cofee in KC and I don't even like cofee! I was so lucky to have this place across the street from my gym so I could pop in all the time. My go to drink is an iced oat milk dirty chai. The chai is so fresh and this drink is the perfect balance of sweet, cofee, and spice!

I really enjoy Thou Mayest but was disappointed this morning when I saw no masks being worn by employees. Open does not mean safe or clear
