Worth a visit. The drinks are great, the atmosphere is dim and cozy with a retro sports vibe. They have mocktails. The Bangarang is a great choice with or without alcohol. Make sure you get your hands on some Disco Burger.

Vegetarian options: They have pretty good veggie burger.

Varsity Club is easily my favorite bar in KC. The atmosphere, service, and prices make this place a natural weekday or weekend hang out spot. If you love a mix of dive and class, this is your spot!

Located in the middle of the River market this bar was converted from a parking garage to a hip hangout with great cocktails, beer, and a food truck on the back patio. The bartenders were very welcoming and knew their stuff. I ordered a cowboy killer and while the drink was delicious, I didn’t see the amaro float and the cocktail didn’t seem like it was served full. I just can’t justify spending $15 for one drink that isn’t full, other than that I would recommend checking...
