We just moved from LA, we decided to explore KC and found this coffee shop, pastries are so good latte was also really good. Beautiful place, cozy chill vibes. Staff was also very friendly over all 10/10.

So cute! Great coffee shop atmosphere. Quiet but still buzzing a little. We both got the onyx deluxe coffee, one iced and one hot--both were excellent! We also had one of their homemade pop tarts but I was so excited to try it I forgot to snap a pic before devouring it. It was quite good and fresh. A little pricey but the quality absolutely supports the price! Servers were quite friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

This is a very nice and clean coffee shop. The staff was friendly. The coffee was good but not our favorite. It was good quality so it’s just a taste preference for us. The maple flavored fall latte in my opinion lacked flavor. The shot of espresso was presented nicely and the sparkling water was a nice touch. The baked goods looked very delicious but we did not order any.

My new favorite spot for a latte! The onyx latte is vanilla and cinnamon and it was great! Good atmosphere and nice patio area outside.

What a beautiful little gem. Stopped by seeking to enjoy some downtime before my next client, and am quite satisfied with the experience. Beautiful blend of industrial, modern, and classic traditional aesthetics; very cozy while retaining a spacious, clean ambience. I kept it simple ordering a double shot espresso and a water; I also grabbed a peanut butter granola bar set by the register, which was delicious. I appreciate it being an easily accessible gluten-free option. The glassware is beautiful, thick glass with a cobalt rim, and the espresso was served appropriately with a wooden tray, sparkling water palate cleanser, napkin, and gold spoon. I opted to sit on this delightful courtyard patio, where three separate, two-seat bistro tables allow one to get fresh air while protected from the sun & admire the beautiful surrounding architecture. Something about the historic wrought-iron street lamps adorned with Boston ferns just really beautifies the outdoor space and creates a wonderful sense of nostalgia. I appreciate that the barista brought my order to me while I waited outside, instead of being tied to a “pick up window” or something of the like, as many other coffee shops may have. The only thing I would have loved, and this is purely personal picky pretentious preference (this espresso’s turned me into an alliteration machine, lol), is that the small bites/granola bar I purchased was made locally. That being said, they had a delicious looking “protein ball” I intend to try next time, that did appear either made in-house or at least locally. Overall excellent experience; highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Readily accessible gluten-free small bites.

I had a relaxing morning tea here. They have homemade pop tarts! I wish that the tea didn't come in plastic tea bags (plastic sluffs off in hot tea).

We found this place on yelp. We parked at a parking lot across the street. This place is gorgeous from the outside. It's in between two buildings and there's tables in the middle. The building is made out of bricks. The decor was everything you want a perfect picture to be. The place is kind of small but they do what they can with the space. I ordered a lavender latte and my husband a vanilla latte. Price was reasonable. The coffee was amazing. I noticed the baristas were mixing the cold drinks. Everything about this place was perfect.

As a newcomer to the neighborhood, I stumbled into this place after discovering that my coffee shop was closed without cause. What a find!! Thank you for not opening my coffee shop today, I may not have walked in otherwise! The friendly and helpful service was great, had plenty of dairy-free choices, an excellent breakfast and the designer coffee was a huge plus!! Great space for resetting and creating some healthy balance Breakfast Sandwich was perfect

TLDR; fast & friendly, smooth coffee, sweet pastriesVery friendly staff. Reasonably fast service considering it was busy. We got the oatmeal cream pie which was so good (very dense and rich, couldn't finish on my own) and the blackberry lemon danish which was also great. The Onyx signature latte (hot) was smooth and not too sweet *chefs kiss*. The cookie butter seasonal latte (cold) was also good, tasted almost like cereal milk after Cap'n Crunch. Ambiance was nice, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, lots of natural light. Free street parking.

This small shop saved our mornings in KC. The staff was quite lovely, and takes extreme care to make any espresso beverages. The baked goods while limited in selection, were quite good. You order at the counter, and then deliver to your table. There are a few tables inside, with some in the small gang way between buildings. A garment district gem!

This place is fabulous. The coffee is so delicious, and the whole vibe of this place is spot on. The outdoor seating, the velvet couch, the awesome table and chairs set up - it's all wonderful! We met the owners, and they were very kind and gave us great recommendations. The cold brew is just the kick you need to go out explore KC. I tried the Onyx and loved it! The cinnamon poptart pastry was flakey, warm, and delicious! I hope this place continues to thrive.

A cosy coffee shop in the heart of Kansas City. The interior is amazing with touch of classic brick walls and warm lighting. Coffee and pastries were great too, though the service was bit slow when packed.

Vested Coffee in the Garment District is a popular spot to work remote, sip on delicious coffee, and have a tasty party or burrito. Vested Coffee has taken over as my number one spot for a warm Mocha. The drink was chocolatey, warm, and sweet but not too sweet. This coffee shop offers more than just pastry and burritos, but the burritos are a major highlight. Looking for a spot with a patio to enjoy coffee on a sunny morning? Vested has a few tables and chairs outside to relax at!

The cutest latte art, best bakery items, and a great place to work or study. Cute indoor seating and vibes to sip and talk with friends.
