Our lovely queer bartenders made killer well martinis and appeared to be on a lot of ketamine, so the service was comically slow. But they were playing Hole, had correct takes on Gilmore Girls, and made me—a heterosexual—feel mostly welcome. Definitely going back.

Voltaire has such a relaxed and warm atmosphere. It instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening, striking the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. The drinks were expertly mixed, smooth, flavorful, and just right. But the real star was the food, absolutely delicious, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully portioned to leave you fully satisfied but not stuffed. A truly special spot. I’ll definitely be back.

The food is great, and the atmosphere is a bit loud for such a small place. The worst part was the skinny red-headed waitress. It took her 15 mins to greet our table, then another 20 minutes before we got drinks served after putting in our drink order. We waited another 15 for her to come back for a food order just to have someone not serving us drop the food. After getting our drinks and appetizer, we were finally able to order our food 51 minutes after our reservation. An hour and 20 minutes later we finally got toneat our meal. I know it's a fine dining place, but it is the least efficiently operated 4.5 restaurant I have ever been to.

The milk punch is great, muscles are fantastic, fries with the muscles is the way to go. Every time we visit, we come here and it's always amazing.

We stumbled upon Voltaire in the stockyard district on Saturday after going to the antique shops and I’m so glad we did. First and foremost, they have happy hour on Saturdays! Yes, happy hour on Saturdays with $7 old fashioneds, gin and tonics, and great food options. The atmosphere, seating, and lighting is 10/10 with music played from an old school record player. We ordered fries to start off and they came out hot, fresh, and crispy with the best port wine ketchup I’ve ever had. Our cocktails were fantastic and the bartenders definitely knew their stuff. We also got the brussel sprouts which were absolutely amazing. We will 100% be back for a date night dinner!

The atmosphere is casual historic bar with excellent food and service. We went to Voltaire for a friends birthday. With 11 of us they had to split us between two tables side by side. Not ideal but it worked. I think they had another large party further down along the wall.

Food was great! I had the pork loin which was the most tender I have ever had. The Brussel sprouts and fries were wonderful.

He had heard from friends who like to dine out that they really liked this spot. We went for my wife's birthday. Its off the beaten path for sure. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. We tried several items and enjoyed them all. Its not an inexpensive place to eat but you get what you pay for. I had maybe the best cocktail(the cocktalk) I've ever had and our desert was excellent! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and the food. If you are willing to drive a few more minutes and your not a cheapskate this is a worthwhile trip. If you really like fancy chain restaurants you may want to eat closer to home. I will return for sure.

Dinner for 2 early in the evening, everything was wonderful. Our server, Gabrielle, was attentive without being overbearing. The food was AMAZING. We ordered the Charcuterie appetizer, and then had the roast duck and Brussels sprouts for the main course. Absolutely loved the entire experience.

The place has a nice bar but aside from that, the food is overpriced and our waiter was rather inexperienced. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend to friends/family.

Friendly waiter, food is unique and good. My duroc pork tenderloin - bulgogi style was tasty. Mashed sweet potatoes were cold. The room temperature is on the cold side. We like eating there but it could be better.

Food was not good, server didn’t know what was available on the menu so had to reorder several times, and atmosphere was ok. Overall disappointed.
