Tofu appetizer and Sushi were very good. Steak Hibachi and vegetables were okay. Not very flavorful and no dipping sauces. The salad dressing was a little bit weird, creamy a little bit of Ginger and horseradish

Wasn't the greatest and very out dated and workers didnt act like they were enthused to be there .Not worth $66

This is my personal fave hibachi place! They are kind and the food is soooo good! You get a lot for the price too!

Oof. I know you have to wait a bit for the hibachi chef to begin, but sitting there for 50 minutes with just the soup (which was definitely Campbell's chicken noodle soup) and salad (iceberg lettuce with mayonnaise) and a soda (with no refills) is ridiculous. They also never cleaned the table next to us (which was empty and dirty by the time we had arrived).

The sushi and hibachi food is very good and if you sit on the hibachi side it’s entertaining. There’s 3-4 hibachi tables and maybe 8-10 tables for sushi and a small sushi bar you can sit at.

The place isn’t overly noisy, it’s actually pretty quiet most of the time because they never have music playing or anything. It is fairly clean, small bathrooms, and there is always Valentine’s Day heart decorations year round haha.

So the atmosphere isn’t “amazing” or “romantic” however, the food is delicious and their alcoholic beverages are decent.

But I do recommend them simply based on their food. It’s good for eating there and for getting it to-go, it is always fresh.

We had a reservation and had a bit of a wait. The chef was personable. 2 of the 5 in our party had stomach cramps after the meal. I had the vegetarian meal, it was ok. The noodles were very sweet, not what we expected. The server was very kind but we had slow service. I had to go to the bar to get refills on the drinks.

Used to go here all the time. Was served rotten fish today and they refused to refund me after I took one bite. They claimed “we dont know what you like,” Waitress said it was her second day and continued to insult us saying this is a small business and they don’t have money like big businesses to take hits like that. I’d be more worried about getting shut down for health code violations after making people sick than someone letting you know something isn’t good and make a point to inspect what you are serving. I know a man that used to work or co-own this place and he had moved to his own location in parkville. He was so nice and made really good sushi! Wasahi is doomed! Never coming back

I can't believe I still even gave them a tip.. All of their sushi or sashimi is old, sitting under plastic wrap waiting on the next customer. Gross. Not only that. I decided to try it out so I waited on my sushi and when I got it, it was nothing but rice and veggies. Same thing with my girlfriends roll.. too expensive to come back for rice and not sushi. I'll never be coming back.. The only reason why I'll never come back is because they didn't give me a refund. I didn't eat my food, even after the refusal. Still made me pay or they would have me prosecuted, God Bless. These are not the kind of people you want to work with or eat with.
