We had a great and fun experience here as a date night and the food was great.

Decent enough food. Not much of a show by the chef. Made a “volcano” with onions and slapped his spatula against the griddle a few times and that was about it. Charged my ten year old child adult price for a kid’s chicken hibachi and forgot that it was my five year old’s birthday after we told two different people when we arrived. Staff was nice enough and food was decent, but for the price (and being overcharged for children), I would expect more. Probably won’t be back any time soon.

we had a good time here. Out of the grills in KC this is the best tasting one. Not as much flash with the cooks but the taste was amazing.

Saturday was my first time visiting, I was previously told this was a reservation only on weekends so i called in for Saturday party of two at 6pm. When my guest and I arrived due to it being our first time we just stood at the front glanced around, a elder white woman rushed up on us asking if we wanted hibachi or sushi we didn’t know which one yet but the lady kept asking we decided hibachi without ever asking about a reservation before seating us she sat us with a large party that was already eating. We were forced to sit in front plates and utensils at a small corner of the table. I already was displeased, the same lady came up and said you didn’t have a reservation did you, I said yes and told my name, we were moved to our own table which was a lot nicer. We ordered our meals and went along with the night our bill came to $88.68 After the beginning interactions I was so displeased i knew i wasn’t leaving a tip, we paid a went about our night on Monday morning at 5am i get a notification from my back saying my bill was changed to 98.68 which is strange because i know for a fact i didn’t leave a tip the receipt doesn’t even allow you to, as well as no gratuity for a party of two listed anywhere on the menu. So not only did i not have an expected experience I also got an additional $10 stolen off my from this restaurant

It doesn't look the best when you walk in, but the food was amazing. I will definitely be back for some more baked mussels. Delicious!!!

Went here to eat NYE for the first time w/ someone who had never had hibachi before and it was hands down the worst experience I’ve had in a place like this before.

The chef threw hot grease from the grill on our entire party multiple times so much so to the point that our attire was ruined with unremovable stains and we had burns up our arms and on our hands.

When I brought this up to the manager and informed her of this; she went to the kitchen to bring out the chef who then proceeded to swear at me and told me “if you don’t like it, leave and never return”

There were so many more things wrong with this experience.

The hibachi was very very good. I went with the chicken with fried rice and was not disappointed at all. It was a lot of food too, easily had a meal the next day. I also had the volcano roll which was equally excellent. I will be back!!

Didn’t get any food. Waited for thirty minutes for a seat at the grill and then gave our chairs to four ladies that had walked in. Not really good service tried to order an appetizer while we waited and they had no I treat. It wasn’t exactly busy either so I don’t understand what was going on. It seemed clean and that’s all I can really say, after we waited and they gave up
Our spots we just closed the tab and went some where else.
