Pops is a great place to eat! Good food great service!
This afternoon I finally stopped at Pop’s Smoke Shack in Branson West. I’ve driven by many times and even tried once when they were on vacation. Today I got my chance, and it was worth the wait.
The burnt end sandwich was the star. Big chunks of meat, nicely blackened and juicy, with deep smoke and balanced seasoning. It ranks with the best I’ve had, even back home in Kansas City.

Great food, great service, and overall great experience. Brisket, turkey, and smoked sausage were excellent! The peach whiskey bbq sauce is one of the best sauces I’ve had. Had to take a bottle home with us.
