“Ok this is not the place where you sit down and have a coffee, ok? It is pretty basic.......But this place was recommended by a friend. And I'm so glad I went!!!!! Because I would have passed it by otherwise.... I met the owner (btw...she doesn't like her picture taken) but she is a MAGNIFICENT baker- she makes everything herself. The rye bread stays fresh forever and makes amazing Ruben sandwiches. I also bought a poppyseed and a pistachio muffin - a week later and with a warming both were soft and flavorful. I gave my dad and his help, Samantha (Anna daughter) a blueberry scone. The price was great. This business is located in the town square. I initially thought the Kirksville area was small town- and it is!!!! but that means small town delicious food, small town friendliness, small town prices , and THIS (To Die For Bakery) is a place that I would be **Proud** to endorse for good food, reasonable prices, and a generous portions. If/when I return, I will plan to return for their great baking goods“
