Dairy Queen has come a long way over the years and I’m happy to state It’s in a better condition then it was just a year ago which was my last time I was here. The bathroom was filthy and disgusting. We ate at an outside table that looked like it might have cleaned sometime in the spring.
I was very impressed with the service. There was a mistake in our order and they fixed it, up sized it, and gave a very heartfelt apology that is usually hard to come by in our society. I wish I would've gotten the guys name to thank him properly but I was at Dairy Queen in Kirksville between 4:30pm and 5:00pm thru the drive thru. So if you know who this gentleman was please give him my gratitude. Thank you very much for caring about your customers and taking pride in your work. You are truly a great human being.

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, I stopped by and place my order and the young man working the drive-thru was just the friendliest employee I've encountered at any establishment since the pandemic. When I pulled up and talked to him some more, I learned that he had already worked more than eight hours that day, and I couldn't believe how friendly he was. I even offered him a tip to reward him for his great customer service and attitude; however, he declined the tip. The food and malt were great, too!
