What a great spot to have a late lunch after the rains went through today. We were just on a road trip through and asked a local where to eat, he said Maxwells and he was not wrong. Had the special, po boy with chicken, Lynn had the ham and cheese sandwich, we both enjoy some pretzel appetizers, and it was all very good. Definitely recommend!
Spinach & artichoke dip was piping hot! The southwest chicken street tacos were tender and delicious. I tried a couple IPAs (Mind Haze IPA 6.7% and FML 8.5%). Both were fantastic. Kristoph = fantastic service! Give Maxwell’s a go when in Kirksville!

Our order was served with hardly any wait. My darling had the spinach feta salad with chicken and said it was the best salad she had ever had. I had a chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries and the sandwich was delicious. We finished with the in-house-made peanut butter pie and let me tell you it was wonderful. And it wasn't a dinky sliver...
