This was our second attempt to like this restaurant. It did not meet our expectation. The portobello mushrooms over cooked. The Caesar salad that boasted house made croutons were stale. The meat of the prime rib sandwich over cooked and dry. There were very few items to select that were even made in house.

The portion size was very large for an upscale restaurant. We had to get to go boxes. Loved the pineapple chicken! Waiter was so nice too!

The five of us were greeted by the hostess upon our arrival for lunch. We were immediately seated and then greeted by our server. The prime rib sandwich, ribeye steak, sirloin steak and turkey club were delectable! The server was exceptional and we will be back! A couple of the guys from our party were local, one is from Ottumwa, IA. Another from Belle Plaine, IA. and I am from Williamsburg, IA.
The five of us tried the TK’s for our first time for my son’s birthday! We were greeted by the hostess upon our arrival and our server was exceptional and very attentive. The presentation of our dishes was wonderful and the food was savory!

If you want somewhere nice to eat with an original menu and atmosphere, check out TK’s. Great staff and the food was on point! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

The food and service were amazing! This restaurant is an hour and a half away from me, but I will definitely come back! The food was very good, you can go as fancy or as normal as you'd like, and the portions are generous. The only things I would change, the music didn't fit the restaurant; the bread; it either needs to be a small loaf or rolls in my opinion and the onion rings were mid.

The entrees, prime rib and chicken marsala were spot on. Their sides of asparagus, broccoli and the loaded garlic loaded mashed potatoes were so bland we didn't even eat them. My husband also had the fried alligator appetizer and it was so rubbery he couldn't chew them. No apologies, no can I replace them, nothing.
They throw out your take-out order if you happen to leave and forget to grab it. You come back 10 minutes later and find your cake in the trash. No substitute, just a suggestion to buy a new one.
Sounds like a great experience to you? Then welcome!

Okay so first of all, the service is great. I called in when they opened (at 4:00) about an opening that evening and they got my group in at 5:15. I also accidently asked for a 4 top instead of 5 and they were very professional and accommodating when I would have been frustrated in their shoes. Table service was also great and timely.
As far as food goes, I am super happy with everything. Our meals came out promptly and everyone really liked what they got (fish and steaks for the other 4). I had the 'T.K. Prime' Rib sandwich which was on the cheap end of the menu, absolutely delicious, and plenty for leftovers. The au jus even came in a nice wide-rimmed dish that was just the right shape for dipping (it's a small detail, but it shows thoughtfulness about every part of the eating experience).
My only thing is that I like my restaurants more on the cottagecore end compared to the formal end, but that's obviously more of an opinion and not a criticism. Overall, great experience and totally worth the price. As someone who has worked in the industry, I was very satisfied and impressed.

The building is nice. The alligator was extremely greasy, chewy and just not that good. My $50 ribeye was poorly marbled and not tender. Absolutely zero flavor to it. Coltons steaks are twice as good. My first and last time here. That's for sure.
