Want to imbue your G.I. tract with main character energy? Go for the street dog. Want it to get gnarly with Dhalsim yoga fire vibes? Add mango habanero salsa. I am not a religious person, but I know what it is to be baptized in fire. You’ll need some more quarters if you want to continue… 🔥🍑🚽🧻

The food since the rebrand is mid. That’s the best way to describe it. I know they went through a lawsuit and had to totally rebrand but the new menu is so boring compared to what it used to be. They axed so many of the best tacos (Yucatán pork and BLT taco). The fun and exciting street tacos just are whatever now. None of them really had a good kick. The service was great but feeling pretty meh on the food nowadays.

Tacos are tasty, missing some seasoning but cooked well. No front of the house staff present. This is a persistent occurrence I’ve observed at this restaurant. There was no host that greeted me when I walked in, no bartender at the bar, no waiter seen. This lack of staff visible anywhere went on for over 5 minutes. I thought about walking into the kitchen to the line cooks for my order. If this is the service for a pickup, I can’t imagine a positive experience dining in.

My daughter's hockey team won a tournament and the team all decided to go to Mission Taco after to celebrate so the kids could play in the arcade. It was a Sunday afternoon and the arcade was rented out for a party until 3. We all stayed and they were very accomodating for our large party. They put us in the back area of the restaurant and had the food comingm out very quickly and the drinks were flowing. Hugh, the general manager, made sure we were all very happy and his staff kept close attention to our crew. They were also very nice with the kids b/c they were parading the championship trophy around the whole restaurant. Can't wait to go back soon!
Kid-friendliness: they have an awesome old style arcade that the kids had a blast running around.

To be fair. It did say big ass nacho. Pretty good. Not the best.
We always loved Mission Taco, but lately service and food is no good! The street corn, which used to be my favorite just tasted burnt. My husband’s burrito was totally dry! The spicy margarita my daughter got was terrible. The service was SO slow! We asked for extra chips with the dip trip and didn’t get them til after our dinner was serviced! Took forever to get our server to come back and take our payment also. Won’t be back for a while!
I ordered catering for my clients and the staff was so helpful and nice, they carried everything to my car for me. And my clients were extremely pleased with everything!

They changed the menu slightly and the old favorites are a bit different. Our carne asada taco was one big piece of steak instead of small pieces which we preferred the old way. The new session taco menu is different and we asked about it when we were there and they told us the menu was the same as before. Please bring back the old carne asada. Thanks!

Long John Silver’s lobster tacos, cold tacos, understaffed for Friday night, and too many kids at this location. The blue crab taquitos were on point and the milder salsa was great. The hot salsa had no flavor, only heat.
If you want a more adult version drive to Delmar or Soulard. This one’s full of yuppy families on a Friday night.
