“Duke's reputation as a BBQ icon is well deserved. They have a wide variety of great meat choices, all of which are smoked to perfection without being dry. I enjoyed the Brisket and the Pulled Chicken, but the sausage is also great. The sides are delicious as well. I had pit style beans and Potaoe Casserole. I was blown away by both, they were excellent. It's a fast casual format where you order and pay and then sit down as they bring your food. There is a decent amount of seating but groups could be a challenge. I did see seating outside as well. The staff is awesome, and there are a lot of reasons to come here many times.“

“I've been to just about every brewery in the Greater St. Louis area and can pretty much say, with confidence, that you will find the overall best beers here at Crossroads. The brewery typically has a wide variety of styles on tap and there has yet to be a beer here that did not show quality in crafting.Typically this would be an ideal spot for IPA (both hazy and West Coast), but their latest runs on porters have been exceptional. If you don't like beer, they have taps with margaritas, guest taps with ciders, and even produce their in-house seltzer.I used to want a brewery I frequent to have food options, but I've come to realize over time that I prefer the option to bring in my food from local establishments. That being said, you can still purchase some chips and basic snacks if you don't have something to bring in.Service-wise, I've had nothing but great experiences with the folks. I've always received prompt service and never waited an exceptionally long time for a drink. Specific highlights include Trisha and Kristen, but all are fabulous.Finally, I typically run around town with my family and this is a family-friendly establishment. They have a myriad of games for us to play and treat my kiddos well.The area is lucky to have such a wonderful spot!“

“My boyfriend and I love it here! This may sound silly, but It’s rare you get beers that taste exactly how they are described. I can really taste the different notes of fruit come through! Caboose Kitchen is also a good spot to satisfy your salty / savory fix. We love the fries!We had a good chat with one of the brew masters and one of the bartenders last night. They were good company.Overall, This place is a weekend staple for us. We really enjoy the atmosphere- they truly play into the friendship aspect!“

“The salads are amazing. They are gorgeous salads. I have never seen anything so pretty before in my 69 years of life. I have heard the employees in particular are amazing workers. They are so hard working and so nice. This place is great to go to if you want a decedent and wonderful place to eat. However, the latte was bland and not to par. I asked for my latte to be hot, and it came out lukewarm. I am disappointed in the girl who was wearing a bandana up at the counter. I watched her make my latte incorrectly. Please ensure she has the proper training. Thank you!“

It’s a must visit for anyone that is in St. Charles County and even worth a trip across the river for those in St. Louis County. By far, one of our favorite places in O’Fallon!“

“I hosted my husband’s 40th birthday party over the weekend at Shortleaf and I can’t say enough good things! All our guests are still talking about how amazing the place and party was. Some have never been to Shortleaf but they may become regulars ?.The communication leading up to the party was wonderful, thank you so much to Jonathan and Michael for answering all my questions. The event space was perfect for our 40 guests.The food was amazing! Eli helped coordinate how much food I may need for our guests which was extremely helpful. Ordered the taco bar (meat, chicken, spicy cauliflower), toasted raviolis, caesar salad, and chicken fingers.Everyone talked about how delicious the food was overall but especially the chicken fingers! The catering was perfect, enough plates, napkins, and silverware. Thank you so much Eli for the fantastic food!!I was able to bring a custom cake, centerpieces, kids coloring table, and balloons. Additionally, they had board games and a shuffleboard table for entertainment. We had 14 kids which is hard sometimes to keep them entertained even during a meal at a restaurant.Brittany was wonderful at the bar! Everyone loved all the beers but especially the frozen hot chocolate and frozen strawberry margarita. It is so nice to go to a brewery where there are other cocktails if you do not prefer beer.If anyone needs to hold an event, come in for a drink, or eat delicious food THIS is the place!! “We went in at 12:40 and they closed at 1:00am. They served us drinks at the bar. They were fast and friendly. They never made us feel rushed and let us stay as long as we wanted without asking us to leave. “If you’re into dive bars this place is for you! Great small bar is a historic district. Has a homey feel & staff is courteous & attentive. Treats everyone as if they are a regular. A bit smokey so if you’re sensitive it may not be the place for you. Would recommend to anyone looking for the dove bar atmosphere without the seediness that typically comes with a dove bar.“

“Coffee and food is excellent. I love that they have lavender lattes year round(some places don’t). The service here is great and everyone is friendly. My only two things is that sometimes the wifi is iffy and I wish it was opened later for students to study at!“

“After asking and learning this was my first visit my outside order taker asked what I was looking for so she could make recommendations. That was helpful because 7 Brew has a lot of drinks. Besides coffee it also has energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies, and shakes. I didn't want to discuss the whole menu, so asked for low/no sugar, low calorie hot coffee suggestions. We discussed a couple of options. I chose a sugar free, white chocolate mocha. Almond milk was recommended to lower the sugar content and to make the drink even more "yummy." It was sweet and creamy and like a decadent dessert drink. It arrived quickly and while waiting the order taker engaged me in pleasant conversation. This location has two order lanes for quick service.“

“We just had my mother-in-law's birthday party here in the banquet room. Wonderful service and delicious food. Katherine was a fabulous waitress. Highly recommend going to CJs. We picked from Lasagna, baked mostaccioli, chicken bruschetta pasta and baked chicken carbonara. House dressing on the combination salad is fabulous. Thank you for making her party a success. “After 5 years of moving to Saint Peters we finally found our go-to Chinese takeout restaurant. New owners are friendly, provides excellent service, and serves fantastic food. Lo Mein, Mongolian Pork, fried rice, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup and wontons are just a few things we typically order and have been extremely happy with the food and the service. Thank you!!“
